Thanks for the excellent clarification of “needs” vs “wants”.

The pleasure is all ours. We try our best to get customers to ultimately decide what suits their needs specifically but hey if something wants some King 2.5 just to have King, we'll also help them out. haha

I use icon CDCV for my heavy overland tacoma. I love them! I dial it down to one for washboard roads, and then crank up to 6-8 on rough trails. Daily drive at 4-5.

We had Icon stage 8 on a 2nd Gen Tacoma as well and they are great option.

I'm buying a Toyota Tacoma soon and I'm interested in What would be the best Shock to purchase mid to high-end suspension setups w/ UCA's. I want to do overlanding with minor jumps/hitting whoops and rock crawling. I'm looking to run 33s with my build not looking to run 35s at all in the future. I've been looking at emu bp51s but I'd like to know if Icon or Kings would be the better choice. Any feedback would be absolutely amazing as I'm just starting to learn about Overlanding + suspension ect… 😁

Does a soft/plush/progressive shock with a sway bar mitigate the body roll issues and give best of both worlds?
@ShockSurplus Жыл бұрын
Not quite. You want to get firmer shocks for the stability concerns. It's hard to get the best of both worlds but one model that does this is OME BP51.

Recommendation for a ford f350 for hunting and mountain overlanding?
@ShockSurplusАй бұрын
Eibach if available, Fox 2.0 if not. But also a budget oriented shock like the KYB monomax will also work. Lots of options there, depending on budget. hit us up support@shocksurplus.com

I used the old spring on my Xterra with new 4600 front and it's too loose and even all over the road , less than a year old . What should I do ???
@ShockSurplus Жыл бұрын
Your springs might be worn out. Have you changed that out since then or still running it?
@BramtheMan1 Жыл бұрын
@@ShockSurplus still on old spring, would a new factory spring help or are there after aftermarket that would give the quality ride for the 4600 front
