This owner knows how to drive ev. Always keeping on regen mode 3 does not mean one will get best efficiency as described by him. On highways, brief coasting is more beneficial than loosing speed due to regen and then putting more energy to reach that speed again.

Low performance mode kicks in at 10%, speed limits to 55kmph, but AC works until 5%.

It depends on Wh/km. Jo usne bola video me. "Me toh gadi khichke hi chalaunga" ye attitude hoga toh pakka 350 to 400 degi. Pickup dia h EV me bahot. Petrol se bhi kaai jyada he. Par pickup ka maza lena h toh range bhul jao. Range chahiye toh pickup bhul jao. Kafi logo ko ye bhi doubt he ki speed se range girti he. Ye bhi galat he. 80 pe bhi range nai degi agar ap 0 to 80 khichke pahochai he. You have to accelerate smoothly. Screen me dikhayegi power used. I use maximum 5 bars of motor power out of 10 bars on display in city mode. Punch ev me 5 bar power bhi itna enough h city mode me koi bhi petrol car ko zoom krke overtake karne ke liye. Lesser the bars you use to attain particular speed, more the range. Not dependent on speed. Ab ek baar 80 speed agai fir 1 ya max 2 bars hi use kro wo speed maintain krne ke lia. jitna baar baar braking hogi utna wapas range drop hogi. Aur ye bhi misconception he ki mode se range me fark padta he. It all depends on how many bars of motor power you use. I can get maximum range even in sports mode. For me mode has zero effect on range. Agar 5 bar motor power se jyada zaroorat nai he kisiko bhi overtake karne ke liye fir bina wajah q accelerator poora niche touch krna?? This needs to learn by everyone who is going to buy EV soon @AutoAddictionnbyprdp

I don't know about the bar system but what you say is true, sudden acceleration takes more power.

I think this is true for all cars, including ICE-engine cars. The harder you accelerate and keep the rpm high, the more petrol/diesel you will consume. The same is applicable to EVs, too.
