I am constantly amazed by what you presenters can do with simple brush strokes as you are completing a piece of art.!!!! I enjoyed seeing how using the brush with light alcohol would bring all the colors together and make a beautiful blend. Is it possible to get more information about what exactly are grafix products? I've used transparencies previously but I see the duralar is a much higher quality. Thank you so much for this set of demonstrations!!

I love this !! I like drawing portraits but have the worst time with getting the facial coylors right! Can you tell me what color you would use if this had been a ivy skin tone? Thank you !
@tkbrownart-artwithteresa9329 Жыл бұрын
I’d probably use the lightest colors in the copic flesh tone set. To be honest, I don’t usually strive to get the perfect skin tone to match, just one that works if that makes sense. Salmon and shell pink from ranger work well too, I’d you don’t like the color you can always mix until you get it right.

My work is usually abstract art, but with the transparent Duralar I can see how I might approach something realistic like a portrait (don't own any Duralar at the moment, have mostly photo paper around). Someone recently gifted me a set of 24 AI markers (I'm guessing you have a selection that's greater than 24 given all the various shades you used). Thanks Teresa.

@tkbrownart-artwithteresa9329 Do you remember what the bottle was?
@tkbrownart-artwithteresa9329 Жыл бұрын
It was liquid friskit or masking fluid. It’s also made by Grafix. You “paint” it on where you want the areas to remain white and let it dry and then paint away. When you’re done, remove the friskit and it’s the original white. I use it a lot on surfaces that stain more such as canvas and cradle boards.
