Love your work style Trent, every time I see your videos it makes me want to dive back into my own artwork.

Amazing I've been struggling on how to color digital paintings for a few days now. After mostly just practicing sketches. This video helped a lot to educate me in the direction I need to look. Thanks again Trent and keep on rocking the Art world my man! Can't wait to see Twilight monk on Steam!

a Trent video!! Yesh! I love this design so much. The shapes you used are so darn appealing and the composition is solid! The arms are my favorite part, especially where you rendered the hard ice connecting to the bone slicers thingy. My buddy is a modeler and he's been trying to get me into sculpting but I didn't have much interest but what you said only makes sense, considering I wanna get into video games, it wouldn't hurt to learn the basics, I don't wanna be inconsiderate to my team. I can't wait for the next video, I'm inspired to draw a menacing creature too now. Hehe

Super-rad concept Trent. It would be awesome to see him in your game. But even if that never happens it's always great watching you illustrate.

You've earnt another subscriber, this is, for lack of better phrasing, really fucking amazing. You've done really awesome and you should be very proud of yourself and your skills as well as your design and creation.

Got the boxed set on Trent's Gumroad, and would happily recommend it to anyone looking to learn to paint and design digitally. Pick it up, this stuff's gold! As to a bit of a response to your question on what I'd like to see more of. I'd like to pick your brain on design. What references you use for cultural design, what's the stuff you look at. How do you go about constructing a design language within a character on environment microcosm. I think your worlds are terribly fascinating and I'd love to see what the process is for building a visual kit for a location or character.

I love your work. It would be really cool to see you do something totally out of your element. Not necessarily an uncommon subject, but an uncommon style for you. I would love to see a mythical beast like this one rendered in a realistic way. That would be a great video meh thinks! ^-^

Green Trent Although it's not compiled into a single video, if you check out his gumroad videos, you'll find quite a few tips while he draws. He has them bundled for a decent price and I don't regret picking it up. :)

Hey Trent, regarding the skills vocab, I am someone who has delved into blender, autodesk, 3dsmax, zbrush, unreal engine, game design, character modelling and animation, but who's strong points are in illustration and concept art. There are many people like me out there who have thousands of dollars spent on education, with no return. It is so hard to land a concept job when you can tell a potential employer that you have hit the deans list, honor roll, high GPA, and teacher accolades with 180+ credits but no degree. Networking his huge I understand, but how do you reach that one person who is actually willing to put their money on you when you live in the cornfields of the Chicago suburbs? Is this a good topic for our next show?

+Artist MikeJay Its a great topic for discussion. I had some ideas on getting paid work that i talked about in my last video "how to get paid to draw". But these days, with the internet, it's easier than ever to send your portfolio out. The only trick is getting a portfolio that looks up to par. The next step is... move to where the jobs that you want to do are.
