I feel like Orks love checker patterns bc they were originally written as a pastiche of the British working class at a time when two-tone ska was popular, but I'm just guessing

Question: After the black base, you dry brush a metal color on the metal items or a white, then, metal color? Sorry I couldn't tell, I'm blind.
@billiondollarclownfarm2 жыл бұрын
straight to metal over black! i don't use white on metal generally, since bright silver does kind of the same job
@prevail62 жыл бұрын
@@billiondollarclownfarm Thank you soooo much! Leadbelcher as a first go over the base via dry brushing??? I think I watched your tutorials for 2+ hours last night. Hilarious and Insightful 🙏😅
@billiondollarclownfarm2 жыл бұрын
@@prevail6 lol honestly i forget but yeah i think so, i use brass scorpion and vallejo bronze sometimes first too. the most important thing is to keep them light, i like slowly building metallics up over black more than just basecoating with a solid metal color

I always make sure to let my primer coat dry for at least 10 years so all the dust is permanently glued to the primer coat and you avoid that texture.

it's been 3 years, and you've probably figured it out by now, but a texture palette and a sponge help prevent the weird texturing from drybrushing
