@StitchingCuisines7 жыл бұрын
Hello WowFunnyVideos, Thanks for watching! I usually purchase shredded phyllo dough from my local grocery store: Vons, Albertsons, Safeway, Walmart, etc. It will be in the freezer section. This is the brand that I prefer to use: www.athensfoods.com/athens-kataifi-shredded-fillo/ I hope that helps! 😊

Thanks for sharing, I have been looking for a good palestinain knafeh recipe all day and seems that I have found it here :). Looks really good and easy to prepare. Is there a specific reason you mix mozzarella with ricotta cheese ? I'm in canada and its hard to find the original nabulsi cheese like back home. Is it also necessary to put some dough at the bottom?
@StitchingCuisines7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the support! After experimenting with different types of cheese, I discovered that mozzarella and ricotta give the best results in terms of flavor and texture. Yes, it is important to place a layer of dough on the bottom, so the cheese does not stick to the pan. Enjoy! :)
