Model centers quote the approximate price as the unit is equipped at the center and those models are set up to showcase many upgraded feature options. How you design your home will dictate the actual price, which can be considerably lower.

I really like this home, but in the other configuration that you showed. Does Palm Harbor have an office that we can go to and talk to someone? We’d be first time homeowners and it’s very overwhelming and scary. Would they work with us to have a home placed in Seminole County? Any help would be appreciated.

@@loulevin2064 Yes they do. It's located in Plant City right off of I-4. You can configure a custom version to a degree. Anywhere in Florida is no problem. Best wishes and be very meticulous in going over the final design. Do not assume anything. Even if it means that they didn't include things that would make them more money. Don't sign anything until the final draft is EXACTLY what you want. No matter what builder, no slam on P.H. they build great homes, but a salesman sells it to you :)

Does the home have to be placed on or in an existing community or do we have to buy land? Are their community fees and costs; so they help with that. Do they help with first timers who need serious help financially with getting their first home? Because we live in hurricane central are these homes safe and are they secured to a solid foundation? Do you recommend one manufacturer over another? Any help and guidance would be appreciated!

I saw the side mounted garage door opener in a video last week and I was quite intrigued. As for the w/d set-up, it is preferable to a stacked w/d. But .... there is no pantry and only 3 drawers in the kitchen. I also liked the arrangement of the primary bed and bath in the unfinished house better. It seemed roomier. Thanks for the tour. 😊😊😊

For laundry room I would put a full-size stackable W/D on one side, and a full height linen cabinet on the other side.

Right now we are mostly touring manufactured homes at model centers that you can purchase directly through them and have set up on your own property or in a mobile home community. You could contact Palm Harbor Homes and see if they could recommend communities in your area. Thanks for watching

The interior of the big garage door doesn't have any insulation panels on it, My garage door here in Colorado has foam insulation panels so better thermal efficiency both in winter and our very hot summers

The good thing is that you could buy that house directly from palm harbor homes cheaper than the park, since they make profit on it, and then put it on your own property so you will reap the benefits of the property when it increases in value.

I talk to s lot of people who live in communities and almost all of them like the community, the amenities and zero lawn maintenance along with a degree of quality of the community. But I also know a lot of people who prefer their own land and in the proper location and if they opt for a modular construction, their property appreciates the same as any neighboring one does. I like the alternate floor plan with the closet in the bathroom. I love the garage. You dont often see a garage on a mobile home. It is usually a carport. The price is really good for Florida. Anywhere else and it would cost 20 to 30 thousand less, but I would pay the extra to be in Florida.

All of my friends and family that live in manufactured homes in 55+ parks in Florida own the home and dont own the land. They pay the park lot rent which not only covers lawn maintenance but all of the amenities.

It would be completed faster and cost less. Also depends on the size of the home and lot. There are limits to how many square feet you can put on a given lot.

I would have loved a soaker tub that's it. Can you tell me where to look for places for more adults. I'm 51 I've heard of places that do 45 and up and of course 55. I'd want something like this meaning a newer house I've seen the trailers in some of the 55 and up and well you get what you pay for.
