Very nice game. I only have one timed coop game, Magic Maze, and it's funny how this is the opposite in one way: you are only allowed to talk when the timer is running. I think this one is going on my wishlist. By the way, do you plan on playing Fantastic Monsters: Perilous Pursuit? I'd love to watch you guys play that one.

Looks like you are playing the game incorrectly, at 14:29 you cannot keep one Energy die in play. You need to fill the first segment of three and that has to be in one players turn otherwise you cannot keep the other players die in play.

Nice game, but playing against time will not fit for all people. I like not to be in a hurry, but think about what to do in calm atmosphere and work together with others. So we changed rules - first to roll and play dice simultaneously all players and discuss about what to do, and to play not against time, but make certain number of turns depends on difficulty before adding next city. This works better for us.

Finally got to play this one, gotta say, with two very inexperienced tabletop players it was impossible with time limit, we had to slow down a bit so they could better understand the game

Sort of looks like a fun game, but definitely seems like an Alpha-Gamer's wet-dream haha. I think it's a missed design-opportunity to not have everyone acting simultaneously. As it is the most experienced person can just direct everyone in their turns since the non-rolling people don't really have anything to do while waiting for their rolling turn other than to tell other players what to do. I feel like they either should have made everyone constantly rolling simultaneously (which would amp up the confusion/cooperation-required/intensity ten-fold), or had the other players require to do something else on their non turns, even if it's something simple like drawing an ability card at the end of their turn so they have something to read when the other players start their turns and something to think about using while others are taking their turns (even better if ability cards can only be used on other peoples turns). Still, looked like fun regardless haha.

I loved watching this and I love the Pandemic series, but I know I'd hate playing this game. I find anything that causes me to feel rushed or panic in a game I do not like, since I play games to unwind and relax. Tension of people somehow making your game harder is fine, just hate timed things. As much as I like everything in the game and want to like to play it, I just know I wouldn't. Was the same thing with Magic Maze.

you could play it without a countdown.. everyone has one or two turn then the next city is added...OR just set yourself say a 4 minute time limit something which reduces the pressure

Am I the only one who thinks the “5 rolls per turn” rule is silly? You’re already fighting against both the clock and bad rolls, you should be able to just re-roll until you either use all your dice or give up. Not to mention that when people are in a hurry, they are prone to forgetting how many rolls they have left.

Are you sure you are getting the dice back after activating the room in the same player turn for rolling them again ? "After you finish using a room’s effect (including generating waste, explained later), take all dice that were assigned in the room and place them on their owners’ role cards." (from the rules pdf) "Note: Sometimes you will have to “spend” a die to use it. Place spent dice onto your role card; dice on your role card cannot be used again until your next turn" Cards on your role card can`t be used again because they count as "spend" so reusing the dice, you used for activating the room, in the same turn is not possible Just as an info for the next match ... Love your videos and I'm really interested in this game (love your timer solution: The beeping sound fits so good for another distress call from a new city)
