Great video Pan, I have the McKee’s N-914 and I love that product so much. One thing I would like to test to try to avoid water spots is to put it in a gallon sprayer with distilled water and use it as a rinse aid after the car is washed to see if that is going to help neutralize the minerals, we shall see how it does and of course results vary depending on where you are. Thanks!

4:25 Alcantara is not the “reverse part of leather”. The “reverse part of leather” is called suede. Alcantara (or ‘microsuede’) is a 100% synthetic textile, manufactured to look like suede.
@PanTheOrganizer11 ай бұрын
You are correct. I should have been more precise. What I meant to say was the reverse side of leather is known as suede. The reverse side of the top grain leather or the second cut of the split hide. Suede is known for a velvet like appearance. Some do confuse that with alcantara. And you are right, alcantara is a man made textile. And actually Alcantara is the brand (like Kleenex) and microsuede is the more appropriate term to describe that fiber. I did a video with leather care experts from Colourlock, one of the experts confirms what you say: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqeue4t9h9OYgMksi=-aYKzRPJV_X83pFJ&t=1016 Welcome to my channel. Great info Pan, as usual. I seem to do more interior work, typically accompanied by its share of dog hair. Recently picked up the Fur Eel from Buff Brite, and it works GREAT! I have also used the Lilly and Analan tools. They work pretty well and a little better in tighter spaces, but in general require more effort. The Fur Eel is not effortless but is quite faster than the others. It’s now my go-to. I also have a Ridgid wet/dry vac and love it. Great power. Mine is 10-gallon because I use it around the house for projects too. Last, I really like N-914 but haven’t used it for interior cleaning yet. See you on the next one!

Hi Pan, I am a big fan from Melbourne Australia :) Love your videos and especially this one. I am switching (well, upgrading) from the decent Chemical Guys interior ceramic detailer to the Gyeon, which I tried once and have been very very impressed. If I could please ask a question (two actually): I own a 2021 Toyota Landcruiser Prado and I am frustrated by how easily the interior hard plastic surfaces scuff and scratch. Q1: what is the best way to get rid of scuff marks eg. shoes scuffing the bottom part of the doors like where the speaker are, on the way out of the car... Q2: is there any way to repair or reduce minor scratches on plastic? we seem to be talking a lot about paint correction, are plastics totally "un-correctable"?. Thanks in advance!

Hi pan.. love your videos. They are making my detailing hobby much more enjoyable. Do you have any recommendations on how to maintain Toyota softex seats? Should I clean and condition them like I would real leather?
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
You don't condition leather. Modern leather (or even synthetic leather like yours) has a clear coat on top, much like your paint. That transparent layer is impermeable to conditioners. What you need to do is clean the leather and protect it with a sealant or leather coating, that protects against friction damage, dye transfer, UV rays, fading and makes cleaning liquid spills easier. Watch my leather seat cleaning and protecting tutorial here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eaaxaGqkr514rpo

Pan, could you do a tutorial on the most effective way of polishing/waxing painted roll-up doors? I have been struggling trying to tackle these. (Specifically referring to fire trucks)
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
I have never detailed such doors, but if I ever have to detail a fire truck, I'll surely do a tutorial. Good idea.

Pan, great fan. I live in Quebec so your channel is great as I can easily find most of your products. Maybe a dumb question but is nappa like alcantara. I have Volvo’s seats that are both leather on the side and nappa in the centre. What product and technic do you recommend if it’s not the alcantara you discussed in your video. I don’t know how to take care of the nappa section. Keep the great videos coming.
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Nappa leather is a high quality leather known for its soft feel. So it's not alcantara. Have a look at the Nappa leather seats I had in my previous BMW M550i in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eaaxaGqkr514rpo Alcantara, on the other hand, is the brand name of a common synthetic textile material. It has a soft, suede-like microfibre pile and is noted for its durability. Alcantara is commonly seen in automotive applications, as a substitute for leather and vinyl in vehicle interior trim. So "Alcantara" is micro-suede fabric. I hope this helps clarify things for you. I also made a video with leather care experts on how to take care of leather and alcantara here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqeue4t9h9OYgMk

Hey Pan! Thanks for another awesome video! I've been using CarPro PERL (Diluted 5:1 as recommended) as an interior protectant and it's been great. I lightly misted onto my floor mats and now they're slick and have a slight greasy feel to them; of course this is not what I want on floor mats. Curious what you would recommend for rubber/plastic floor mats? Will the Adam's interior detailer be suitable? Or is there another product you recommend? Thanks again!
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
Never apply dressings on rubber matts unless you know they won’t slip. First clean them properly following my method here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6mqZGStlLKqZ8U And I like 303 Aerospace Protectant on rubber matts for that darker look at the end. But one or two very light sprays and work it in with a microfiber towel. Test on an inconspicuous area first and see if it’s ok for you.

is there a video where you describe where to use the N-914 vs the Green Star/Pol Star? i get where to use the Green Star vs the Pol Star. Just unclear on where/how to use the N-914 on interiors. thanks.
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
N-914 is used as a quick interior detailer at the 256:1 dilution to lightly clean and pick up light dirt and dust. Doors, door jambs, door sills, dash, etc.

@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
Just interior cleaner? Or interior cleaner and protectant (quick detailer)?

@@PanTheOrganizer like p&s express interior etc, but i know there's better ones out there,so i wanted to know what's your favourite one?
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
P&S Xpress Interior is just a cleaner, so it doesn't add any protection. My current favourite quick detailer for interior, that lightly cleans and also protects and adds anti-static properties, is this: bit.ly/3wAeI7H And this one too: bit.ly/3tLBFmV

Hi Pan! Great job as usual but quick question for you. With any APC can you add something to it for it to be a disinfectant as well. Or is it best to spay something after words like a mist of “Lysol” type product? Thoughts and or better suggestion. Thanks again and keep it up!!!!!!!!
@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
Use products that have disinfecting properties to them. Like Gyeon Interior Detailer, CarPro InnerQD, Adam's Interior Detailer with Microban, etc. Or a dedicated disinfectant like this: amzn.to/3uXNt62

@PanTheOrganizer2 жыл бұрын
