@pantheorganizer Can you PLEASE recommend something to take off ceramic coating from wheels? I’ve applied some to all my wheels at the same time in the sun (I know, stupid) and in the same moment witnessed a dump truck plow into a vehicle right in front of me… in the commotion of helping stabilize the situation, I forgot all about the spray and it dried on the wheels completely. They now have a continuous grime to them. I’ve tried (almost) every kind of wheel cleaner. The wheels still look like crap. They are powder coated black alloys from factory. Any help or suggestion is greatly appreciated!

I've tried 3 of these and I keep going back to Meguiar's All Wheel and Tire Cleaner in the pink bottle. For me it does the absolute best on tire browning which really shows on large truck tires

Agree 100%. Meguiars Hot Rimz in the pink bottle destroys the tire blooming with minimum agitation. It is EXTREMELY harsh on skin though. Found that out the hard way when the trigger broke on my last bottle and every spray I squeezed, it would leak a bit of product on my hands. I know, my bad for skipping my nitrile gloves, but sometimes you gotta learn the hard way....

Great to see the side to side comparison. My favorite is Adams. Cleaner still works diluted 1:1 and I only need 1 pass (regularly cleaned wheels and tires). Full strength for neglected tires and Wheel Cleaner (has Iron Remover) for built up brake dust. I use 1:1 in my IK Sprayer and the gallon lasts a long time for me and it’s used regularly on 4 cars. Regular sales from Adams makes it a bit cheaper IMO

The advancement in coatings seems to rival computer and electronic advancements. It is great to have such a plethora of high-quality, high technology/chemistry, and effective coatings/polishes. Makes keeping our vehicles looking great much easier and less time-consuming.

I spray them with the Hyde's Rust Serum (when I can get it) to help prevent the rust from forming on the rotors. You mentioned P&S has a rust preventer. The next time I wash I will not use the Hyde's to see if P&S has enough rust inhibitor to prevent the rotors from rusting.

Well Pan the Turtle Wax wheel and tire cleaner is my favorite. It's the cheapest and I dilute it 1:1 on my IK foam pro 2 and I get thick foam with the orange tip. Yes it's $3.97 a bottle which on Amazon I just add 6 bottles to my shopping cart and it comes out to $23.82 and while doing 1:1 i get upto 2 gallons worth since 23oz times 6 is 138oz of product. I won't go to another brand. This works for me and my customers all love it even without dressing. The one's that want wet tire dressing I apply Mequires All Season tire dressing and blow out the excess with an electric air duster/blower. It reduces the extreme wet look and doesn't leave dressing splatter on the car after driving. Dressing lasts about 3/4 weeks ready for next maintenance service. This is one of my best selling points on exterior details. Great job Pan.

Since none of these products has a iron removing ingredient I do need to use an iron remover about every two months to get my wheels really clean, Koch Chemie magic wheel cleaner is my favorite as it’s not quite as strong as Iron X. Also I wash my car on average once a week. Adams is ok, but it has some harsher chemicals in it that would concern me if it were to be used on a regular basis. Not bad for a mild cleaner. Adam’s is much stronger. Give it a try and you will change your opinion. Unless the price of product it’s something you’re judging on.

What do you dilute to? I have a gallon that I’ve had for a year and I use an IK foamer but It always seems like it doesn’t really clean as I have to agitate always.

Pan, I use P&S tire and wheel cleaner for the reasons you mention and I also purchased the gallon refill. If my wheels are extra dirty I use Sonax wheel cleaner instead.

Great video and a proper comparison. The Adam's produced the best result, followed by, P&S, Turtle Wax, then the All Purpose. This is judging by the brightness and silvery luster of the rim and the blackness of the tire. I would be happy with the results of any of the three dedicated wheel cleaners if used on my car. I think what's more important than a specific brand or formula is to have the appropriate assortment of brushes like you used here, and to follow a procedure to ensure every square centimeter of the wheel and tire gets agitated while the product is doing its magic.

#1- TW Hyper Foam #2- Nanoskin Non Acid Wheel cleaner #3- P&S Brake Buster. All diluted 3 or 4 to 1 since I buy them by the gallon

At the end of the cleaning using p&s the tyre still had some browning. Turtle is the winner in my opinion.

I considered the turtle wax recently, but went with eagle one again, which is my go to. I will try the turtle wax in the future, since availability of the product is very high on my list it could replace eagle one.

Great video Pan! I've used Adam's in the past, and it it is one of the best products out there, but I recently switched to the P&S Brake Buster. It's very comparable, the price is half the price, and I've been having great results since switching to it. I can get a gallon of Brake Buster for half of the price of Adam's. They are both great products though.

I buy Brake Buster by the gallon and use it in a dedicated foam cannon. Pan we were blessed enough to buy a house. I remember your video on how you clean your shower glass. Ever consider doing a video on how to use some of your equipment/chemical on other house areas. For example using a McCulloch steamer on grout or other items, I've seen people use oxyclean on brick and power wash it, maybe foaming stucco, garage doors, whatever....just an idea. For starters anything more durable you recommend for exterior glass other than P&S Beadmaker?

You know what works really good for about 5 cents per 16 oz bottle...water with 20 drops of dawn dish soap. That is what I use only on my tires and works great.

I have used Break Buster and Adam’s Wheel & Tire. I used 3 gallons of break buster then switched to Adam’s. I believe Adams is a much stronger solution. I now use Adam’s Wheel & Tire exclusively. I love using the wheel and tire cleaner in a foam canon. I always use the chemicals straight up. Of course if is pricing is a concern break buster would be the choice.

Hey Pan, I use Armor All Extreme wheel an tire cleaner, it also a foaming solution. Leave it dwell 30 seconds, cleans both really well with normal agitation with the same configuration brushes u used. I’m happy with the results prior to rinsing prior to rinsing an foaming vehicle. Hey Pan spraying the vehicle after rinse with McKees rinseless wash prior to foaming.👍👍👍

Awesome video as always... I love value brands like TW. Can you do a video about getting a showroom shine? Maybe do like a glaze with a da and/or a spray that will give you a nice showroom shine prior to delivery of a customer’s vehicle...
@PanTheOrganizer3 жыл бұрын
I'm not a fan of glazes as they usually contain fillers and only mask the imperfections instead of truly removing them and correcting the paint like a real compound and polish would do. Here's what I do to a brand new car: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m6W7mX2Elqtje6c

@@PanTheOrganizer sry for the late reply... Man that is a tough one. Love all your vids. I like the product comparisons of course cause you tell it like it is... secret tips and tricks is a good one... Like when you showed the synthetic wax on the inside of the windows (Just cool)... You always learn something useful in all your vids... top products videos are always a treat as well. The first video I saw was the TW ice ... I believe you used it on your beamer at the time and I really dug the cleaning process... You answer most overthought questions really well in your videos. While other channels go for the most expensive product... You throughly test them and explain what each does well, which gives them most value, and which one is the best overall. The cameos are cool as well because whoever you have on also brings value to the channel in some way shape or form. Kudos Pan!

I think Adams polish should of been first place I use that stuff on a daily and works best. And also you should of used these products on wheel and tires that has been used up harder in the elements. Cause those tires looked pretty clean already.

💯. Break buster isn’t too shabby but Adams is much more powerful!

I think optimum power clean (OPC) would have done better if it was foamed on. The others seem to have natural foaming agents but OPC barely foams when sprayed (which is expected, it's an APC) so it doesn't sit on the surface as long. There's another video somewhere on youtube where the guy did OPC vs brakebuster, both with ik foamers, and the OPC performed notably better.
@bryanmoreno65963 жыл бұрын
Turtle wax for the win. Can't beat the price for how well it works.

I just tested Adams vs the newer Ethos all in one vs Brake Buster and Adam’s one by a land slide. When I applied Brake Buster over the tire cleaned with Adam’s it was white foam. But when I put Adam’s on the tire cleaned by Brake Buster, it still had a lot of browning and grime it pulled out. Seems like that’s the case for a lot of other comparison videos I’ve seen on KZbin. Also, the Adams 1 gallon is on sale right not for 29.99. It’s a steal and cleans the best. I tried this comparison on 2 trucks and 1 car, all with different tires.
