KOTOR and KOTOR 2 are the only times I've ever cared about Star Wars lore. It's the only Star Wars medium that seems to go beyond "good vs evil, light side vs dark". Kreia hates The Force, but also uses it as a means to an end and dismisses those weak in The Force. She views it as a sentient & uncaring god, forcing destiny onto people. This is why she loves The Exile, because The Exile was able to sever herself from The Force and live. She sees The Exile as the way to defy fate. It's also quite funny how she seems to mock Atton at every opportunity, and I think it's because Atton resembles her in some ways and she doesn't like it. Atton hates the Jedi Order, is a strong believer in self-reliance, has a talent for hiding his past and true intentions (which is why he was so effective at killing Jedi). Sound familiar?

Funny how accurate her visions are, the fall of the Mandalorians is perhaps the dramatic & the most intense, as it shows them losing their identities until they either became either honourable mercenaries who fight for a just cause or thugs for hire with no morals, this would be best seen with Jaster Mareel, Mandalore the Reformer who created the Super Commando Codex and his True Mandalorian, their battles in the Mandalorian Civil War against their polar opposite seen in Death Watch, Jango Fett, Jaster's adoptive son, would indeed something of the last of Mandalorians as he had lost everything thanks to the backstabbing of the Sith & Death Watch. The Jedi having inner fracturing, the changes on planetary & systems, culture and identity is another one, but it requires a more in-depth look, the Jedi & Republic would struggle during and following the Cold War, Second Sith Wars & War against the Eternal Empire, The Sith would rise and fall only to be remade by Darth Bane, the second Sith'ary, Onderon's fate would be one of turmoil and strife,

I been thinking for a bit but I been imaging a character like Kreia in the next saga as the main antagonist but instead of wanting to destroy the force for perceiving it as evil but would want to see it balanced at least to end the constant warring of the Jedi and the Sith. They would manipulate the Jedi and Sith protagonist into being their pawns. Another thing I thought for this character was for them to have the memories of the masters who passed this philosophy down to each person they trusted to be the next teacher of their beliefs.

That would be really cool it would be the like the Canon version of keria even though she wouldn’t have the same name and her philosophy would be slightly different but that sounds like a very interesting Star Wars movie maybe a series? I feel like a Star Wars story in which there’s someone manipulating both sides would have to last longer than one, two hour movie, and she couldbasically be like the Darth sedious of the gray Jedi or not even gray at all just someone who is a powerful force user and has extensive knowledge and first hand experience of dealing with and even may have been a Jedi and or a Sith at some point and has studied the code of each very carefully and sees that neither side is right or true and that they must be destroyed because of how flawed they are and these flawed teachings have gone on for long enough... yeah I like the way this sounds... probably because it’s just KOTOR 2 lol
@Gunfighter1505 жыл бұрын
GinoMarks Yeah I also thought this character would hold not hatred of the Jedi but a great amount of distrust because I heard in the legends history the Jedi have destroyed or conquered other light or gray aligned orders and how they would rather hold knowledge instead of sharing it with the galaxy. The character would understand trying to prevent dangerous knowledge from falling into the wrong hands but selfishly preserving them because certain things go against your beliefs or not allowing those deemed too dangerous to go through challenges or sacrifice to learn is foolish. When seekers see the things that must pay or go through for their knowledge they crave maybe it’ll change them for the better about what they do, reinforce them into a stronger person, or embed them to their beliefs. The fact the Jedi hides knowledge and would prevent others from learning certain things they would see as hypocritical because at least with the Sith it’s expected to fight each other m, steal one, or destroy another secrets for strong thing yourself which they do view has foolish but sensible. The Jedi however has more of a history of destroying things that could be great teachings to future generations which they deem to be even more foolish.
@GinoMarks5 жыл бұрын
gunfighter now see that would be a very interesting and mature and different take on Star Wars, fan fic or not that just sounds good pre-Disney Star Wars was getting to a point ware like KOTOR 2 it was challenging what you believe in and exposing the Jedi and showing you that they’re not as high and mighty as they think they are and also that the Sith are not as evil as you think they are that it’s not a battle of good versus evil it’s a battle of belief what do you believe in how do you think the force should be used what are your views on the galaxy? as a matter of fact I remember a line where the exile says “this was never about power it was about belief” Disney really should make something like this something that would blur the lines between good and evil Jedi and Sith and shows you that it really is just different philosophies and then someone in the middle showing both philosophies that they are not the only and true way that they think they are. stories like the exar kun arc Kotor 2 force unleashed ravens arc anakins story qui-gon being viewed as a gray just because he didn’t blindly fallow the Council he had he’s own beliefs and opinions. These are all really good story arcs you get to see the fine details of how each order operates. But I really feel like Disney wouldn’t make something like this It’s too thought provoking it’ll ruin the image of “Jedi good sith bad” and with them in charge a lot of kids have come to Star Wars and they have to uphold that image and that picture of “good always wins” they won’t make something that complicated and deep. But either way your on to something dude and just know that you’re not alone in wanting something more complicated and mature from Star Wars

The environmentalist in me always compels me to side with the Ithorians, but I admit I like the fate of Telos if you side with Czerka. The dark side fate of Nar Shaddaa is the only one that makes sense, because in both the Legends continuity and the Disney canon Nar Shaddaa is a perpetual cesspool of crime and misery. Both the light side and dark side fates of Dantooine are valid, because wether you side with the settlers or the mercenaries the Jedi enclave will always remain an abandoned ruin. Unlike many here I always side with Queen Talia, my reasoning being to unite the known worlds of the Galaxy under one banner against the threat from the Unknown Regions, just as Revan intended. As for my companions, I find it curious that in the light side ending Kreia will refuse to tell you what becomes of Atton, but in the dark side ending she tells you without hesitation. He becomes a Sith assassin. I prefer the Disciple's dark side fate where he becomes a successful politician who greatly improves the standing of the planet he represents.

I think the best decisions for the planets are pretty varied, Onderon being strong and independant throughout the rebirth and inevitable fall of the republic being the best example, making Vaaklu a king that has a short rule but with long lasting consequences. whilst dantooine is stabilized by helping the settlers instead of a mercenary infested husk, Nar Shadaa being given a chance at hope and having a heart, and Telos growing strong through Czerka's cold and meticulous efficiency, rather then being another victim of wars yet to come.

My question is how does the Republic not completely and utterly collapse very quickly afterwards. There’s so much emphasis on the importance of worlds like Onderon and Dantooine, and they’ve both collapsed. The Hutts are free to expand and corrupt the Republic. I’m astonished it survives the Sith Empire’s assault to last millenia.

Disney killed the original timeline (Legends) of Star Wars but i pretend its canon especially The Old Republic. But then again it can be canon from a certain point of view. A detail I missed was that Kreia predicts that Mira will die at the hands of bounty hunters, specifically on Ord Mantell. Why there? Is there anything in other lore that confirms this? If She were won, if she were destroyed the force. This entire conflict between jedi, and sith were ended. Balance would have been created as all of them goes to zero, and peace would have been created as both were cease to exist. The Immortal Emperor would have been reduced to a conventional man. The jedi who left could no longer return to their roots. The sith would be destroyed by their own slaves, and soldiers in vengeance for their cruelty. And in the end. There would be only ordinary people. She was the chosen one, and she failed.
