These look delicious! I have made the yeast bread without the arrowroot and with the acacia fibre and it worked fine. It didn’t rise quite as much but taste wise it was good. I should also say that I added the fibre to the yeast mixture and stirred well in the same way that Alysia does with her psyllium husk. I’m totally going to split the frozen butter 50/50 with cheddar. My oven has a “Proof” setting which works great. I let it rise for about 90 minutes and then baked it.

It's not as delightful, but sometimes I need less ingredients and passable is separating my eggs, beating the yolks until they double in size and then mixing in cooled melted butter (slow drizzle). Set aside. Whip the egg whites with salt until soft peaks, add in egg white powder until stiff, fold in the yolk mixture. Then bake. It's not as good, but it is good enough.

These look great, and I had meant to say on one of your other videos that I constantly use one of your bun recipes as my go-to... if I remember rightly it's a herbed one you did with soup, but I leave out the herbs, and add all sorts of other things, or have plain... anyway, if I can stop waffling, my point is that I've been meaning to tell you that I use the 'French Bun', or mini baguette silicone mould with the perforated bottom, because it's rather deep, and good for creating filled buns. I part fill, then add cheese, salami, cover, and put cheese on top. They are a bit of a faff for me to do, but with a piping bag it should be easier, I just can't be bothered. I do these when I know we'll be going somewhere that won't cater for me. You could use anything in them, but the rolls you just did reminded me of them, and I thought 'pizza', so why not as a pocket roll for travelling. The only trick is not being over zealous with the fillings... not that I'm speaking from experience on that at all, more than once, because apparently I'm sometimes incapable of learning simple lessons...😒😁

Hey, there’s a 2 pc baking pan set on Amazon ( Nordic ware $30.22)I was thinking of piping ur egg white bread recipe on to make narrow hoagie rolls - it has ridges so might work for bread sticks. I don’t bake with silicone - I worked with silicone for yrs...what keeps it flexible seeps into ur food especially when warming it up and baking with it and especially made in China - if u are having health issues get rid of all chemical leaching that could be blocking ur nutrients or jumping on receptors which are all over ur body. I would not put glazed pottery to my mouth for a second, I worked with those Chinese factories for years...they killed my moms dog with melamine power they put in the dog food back in the early 2000. Also, nickel is in stainless steel unless u buy the Japanese brand that has zero. Sorry for the manifesto but chemicals really mess up your system..drs wont know except maybe an environmental toxicologist doc. So, American made clear glass, Nordicware, American made cast iron or Japanese stainless steel...I blabber on cuz I care 🤗❤️

They do they are a little on the short side so the weiner sticks out a little on each end but I like that. For myself I find them perfect for hot dog buns. One thing I do with them is treat them like cast iron and season them in a very hot oven with avocado oil wiped heavily all over it and then I pull them out of the oven and allow to cool and then I wipe off and excess oil then they are ready to be used I do that after every soap and water wash and I find they don’t stick at all.

can you use a sugar free honey?
@IndigoNili2 жыл бұрын
The honey is to feed the yeast so, no, sugar free honey wouldn't work. You can replace it with 1 tsp of inulin if you'd like though
@RV-there-Yet2 жыл бұрын
Darlene, I'm not sure the yeast would "proof" w/a sugar-free honey or other sweetener. The good thing is that the yeast does consume the sugar or honey used so that you don't end up with any actual sugar carbs left in the final product. That being said, it is possible to skip the yeast proofing altogether, if you don't have any type of sugar or honey, or just don't want to bother with it~ especially if you are confident in the freshness of your yeast. =)

I'm tasting something I don't care for in my bread. What would cause a flavor thsst might add such a flavor? @cb13042 жыл бұрын
@@nermeenhamada6447 No, I don't think that's it. I honestly am not sure. I was wondering if it was one of the add-ins such as the Cream of Tarter, allulose or arrowroot?
