You can put a piece of tape on the adhesive so it doesn’t stick. You’ll hear a slight click but you don’t need to replace it.

Yes skelter zero I do the same thing, but I dont do double sided tape, I either use 3 to 4 layers of some of that Avery type of label cut to size, I have also started using (just because I did not have any labels at the time) some 3 to 4 layers of electrical tape cut to size, I've had some customers with these fixes for months (with no call backs, except for one that I had to re pad because the pad fell off because it was at a high humidity area) and some that have had it for over a year so far, without call backs either.

I wanted to use my HP color laserjet 2500l again and the problem was that the printer prints blank paper (all 4 catriges are new) and i ran also the engine test and again blank page. What would you do???

hello. sr bryan joe... can we just clean sticky part or replace a new thin sponge and use a double sided tape?? that's what im doing and it works fine... thank you..

Not 100% correct, its best to replace the faulty part, if possible. Otherwise yes get thin double sided tape with a Band-Aid that is tough variety and put that in too. tidy it up with scissors.
