Not OP but imo Warframe has the best ive run across. You can buy the in game currency with or without discounts you can receive from daily login rewards 25% 50% or 75% OR you can farm items in game and sell them to other players in game for the in game currency and the only things that you need to buy with the currency are the cosmetic items everything else is farmable

I have been supporting this game since it was in Closed Beta but have never been a hardcore gamer... But the fact that this game keeps adding content all the time, with yet another act possibly due for next year, is crazy, and all for free. GGG, I'm actually very proud of you guys. Rujoni Cristian Respectfully disagree, D3 is a fun game but theorycrafting is weak in it and it doesn't reward player dedication and creativity. It's for casual gamers, which is fine, so I still enjoy it. But the better game in pretty much every way is PoE. It just looks better, sounds better, feels better, the tone is more mature, the monsters are more unique, there is more variety available, etc.

Thomas the dank engine You can still add 5 levels on to a T16, which would go to level 88. That said, Coward's Trial is 68, so with a shaper's orb it would only be 73. @VelKoz B Olmec drops ilvl 79. With a shaper's orb that would go to 84.

In theory it will be + area level. This makes monster level go up which will reduce the overlevel exp penalty and increases the ilvl of drops

These new essences are interesting, although ultimately seem quite disappointing. Looks like you could now craft caster swords or caster bows. Probably not much reason to do so though, even CoC probably wouldn't be worth it when wands and daggers are available instead. These essences will seemingly mess with the economy more than ever though. Free chaos orbs that also give a guaranteed T1 mod? crazay!!!! If people can farm 1 per area that would mean every area you do is like a free 5 chaos or whatever these will be worth. I couldn't really see it worth less than 5 chaos, but then again if the supply is high enough it would have to deflate. It will make chaos a less stable or at least less-valuable currency, and instead people will rely more on fusing or exalted.

Essence idea: Good. The fact that it rerolls the ENTIRE piece, and can't be used on Uniques, pretty much kills the entire idea for me. The essence should only affect one line on the item, period. (Because, you know RNG: You'll get that good roll, and all of the others will be turned to crap).

As with every challenge league you get to transfer the character and your stash to the permanent league after it ends. You can't enter challenge leagues with existing characters or items etc.

Not if it were one use per map node. There was only 1 other item that gave boosts to maps. 2 were revealed, the Sextant and the orb. The Sextant lasts 5 uses, there was nothing to say the Orb does or does not and one occurrence does not form a pattern.

Fun game but like many RPGs players end up using 1 or 2 spells/abilities 90% of the time as shown in the video of game play. Tough to get around it but has to be a way to get more abilities involved in game.

For future reference, any characters in temporary leagues will be returned to their parent leagues, regardless of whether or not the game-play mechanics are being transferred to the core game. However, any League Specific items that you have in your stash/characters will also be transferred to standard, once again regardless of if the mechanics are going to the core game. This means you now have LEGACY items.

Played the game for a while when it first came out; "This is what D3 should have been"! Ruins several classes passive trees by accident because, well... too many options xD **Distracted by other games for a year or so.** Argues with friend over how Indie games don't have to look like SNES/Flash based, and uses PoE as a reference... And everything is even more streamlined with additional features such as new game mode challenges and Ascended classes.... *sigh* I'm only at 15% downloaded... I should close my browser xD

Leagues are really just a way to focus on what's new and last about 3 to 4 months. Then the new content from said league will be toned down and added to the standard league. Characters from different leagues cannot interact with each other under any circumstances so that everybody gets to start from scratch when a new league comes out.

It requires a connection but you will never have to play with anyone. I have a few hundred hours played and I've never played with anyone. It's an amazing game once you gwt to know it.

You can completely skip the multiplayer part of the game and play it solo, but be prepared to use a third party website if you want to trade efficiently : the trade chat is extremely saturated with spam and theres nothing in game to get a clean item search experience. And if you want to test the very high variety of potentially viable builds you will have to trade at some point.

Played this game for about 2 years and absolutely loved it....but got tired of farming the same items and armor again and again (they even look exactly same but with higher stats as the game advances)...why does the good stuff and cool looking gear have to be so hard to get? and yes there are recipes for chaos orbs and stuff but you have to invest hours in order to have a decent amount of currency to trade....wish the farming system was more rewarding and varied as it was for diablo 2....then Path of exile would achieve its full potential IMO.
