In our class this week we are focusing on building the foundations. Beginning a yoga practice can be challenging, this class will give you the tools to start feeling more comfortable and build strength. While yoga is commonly thought of for improving flexibility there is a big strength component to many practices.
Enjoy this practice and feel free to modify as much as you need to, it can be very helpful when approaching these poses to start out with. This practice is always your own, take your time and trust yourself along the way!

I've been doing this set of poses and exercises on and off for about a year and a half. I can say that while I've lacked the consistency to do them daily, I have definitely seen how my mind and body have gained strength from each session, literally and kept the memory of the strength gained. What virtues I have obtained from each session, have stayed with me despite of my sporadic habit of doing the poses. I can only imagine what it would be like if I did them in a consistent way. Ultimately, it feels like I've gained a quiet but very palpable power. The goal now, is to memorize the routine so that I can do it without having to watch it here. I'm almost there. How is this practice for beginners? I am not even a beginner and this was really hard and i needed to pause some times and i had a good day🤔 I guess most beginners will feel bad doing this practice, because it's not makeable for them.

Thank you. Amazing flow. I’ve been doing yoga for about 4 years now. Revisiting the foundation movements and improving on all the core aspects reminds me why I love yoga so much.

wow this was amazing. I literally saw a droplet of sweat run down my arm when I was in one of the planks. I faltered a bit at a few points but I pushed through. I've never sweat this much from a workout!

You explain how to breath just like every 5th position. What about the rest? I am beginner, so I don't know any of that...

Great routine but not a beginner class by any means, and this could be very damaging physically, and also it’s the kind of practice that puts people googling beginner classes to abandon yoga.

Yoga is a natural exercise originated from Indian Rishis and to get full benefit of it, you should be doing it fully naked without any restrictions of clothes.

Most beginner practices are usually too hard or too easy and always way too fast. This one was perfect. Not too hard, not too easy and also slow enough to focus on engaging your muscles, instead of focusing on trying to catch up lmao

I've done your 7 days practice for beginners (and the last class for more 5 days) and came here. I couldn't do ANY of the plank poses, especially the side plank ones... But loved the challenge anyway. Your classes are keeping me active through the COVID19 quarantine. Thank you so much!

beginner is quite a relative term, consider this a starting place, do what you can and build up from there!

I always feel angry doing this type of beginner yoga because often it’s so simple and I still can’t do it. Didn’t feel that this time even if it was more challenging than most. You were so calm but still human?? Not like those other yogis. Thanks man

I'm just starting yoga. I need to gain muscle back but cannot afford to lose any more weight due to medical reasons. So I heard yoga could be great for strength building without burning calories. Came across your channel and I believe this is what will help me get back to my normal self ❤

It was sooo challenging!!!! But glad I could complete it P.S - I am an athlete. Doing it is easy but maintaining those posture with accurate control is tough.

Crazy how fast this video went by while doing it! Typically any excersize videos i do seem to drag on and i find myself checking the video to see im not even half done. This one i checked because he siad only two poses left! And i was more than half done! I was challenged the whole time but found myself truly enjoying it. Thank you.
