Actively listening to customers is so important. I have met so many salespeople where communication is one way and they ignore my needs as a customer. I wouldn't do that to my customers.

Hi Patrick, Thanks for the regular videos. Your approach to sales really resonates with me and the way you share info makes it super easy to absorb. Also, the quality of the videos you produce is first class! I was excited when I saw the title for this video because I expected some INSANELY QUICK tips - great to watch when I switch gears between tasks/projects. I was a bit disappointed when I saw that the video was actually 14 minutes long... While watching it, I noted that it contained quite a lot of detail that you already shared in previous videos? I find your videos motivating and valuable, so please don't see this feedback in the wrong way. It is meant to be constructive and if it isn't helpful, just ignore it - I'm just a sample of one. :) Keep up the great work!

Hey Riswf, I appreciate your feedback. Insanely quick can be relative. I can see how you might expect a shorter video but for others, 14 minutes of content can be relatively quick compared to let’s say a 1 hour lecture. Some of the content overlap for sure because they’re rooted by the same foundations, but I appreciate you letting me know your thoughts. More videos coming every week so thanks for the feedback again, I’ll keep this in mind for the next videos!

Patrick great tips and amazing job, just a suggestion you ought to trim the video. May be like 6 to 7 minutes of video would do .

Patrick, Just started watching some of your content and am becoming a fan.. I'm trying to move into Sales as it interests me a lot. I am wondering if there are any certifications for sales that you would recommend getting for a beginner, or if it's mostly self-teaching / training that is going to help. I know you have some Udemy courses, which have already been added to my wish list. I'm in the IT industry and am trying to get into a more customer-focused position, and I think sales would be a great fit.

Hey Aaron, glad to hear you're becoming a fan! I'd start with self-training courses because it'll give you a high-level overview of how sales works and then dives deeper into the technical "how-to." The bonus is you can do this on your own time and get an understanding of what you like and don't like. From there, you'll have a better idea of what direction you want to take your education next. BTW, check out this video where I talk about the different types of sales roles to get an idea of what the day to day job is like. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5WwnKmll7J_ndE

Hey Patrick, is it a good idea to leave our business mail on the personal email address of the leads?
@patrickdang5 жыл бұрын
Hey Sarika, it’s okay to do that, but I’d recommend sticking with one business email address to make things simple.
