Sun TV is always exaggerating. Its not true. We went there recently. There are families who visit regularly every year. We have to stay at peapulkoti at night n proceed to Joshi mutt Lakshmi Narasimha temple the next morning. From there to Badrinath. The roads are well laid and hardly any landsliding. Very safe journey . No animals at all .

Ketharnath is the most important pilgrimage located at the border of India and China. The last tiny village is maana where you can see the river Saraswathy.It goes under the earth, and you can have tea and snacks in a shop that is the last one and you can see a vinayaga cave temple. If you want to see all the above you must go on foot for some distance with the help of local guide or with the driver of your hired vehicle. Don't miss them. And it is my humble request to all the devotees to do Dharma to the local beggers or pauper. It means now only you complete your holy trip other it is not a pilgrimage just an excursion and you will not be benefited by your trip to such a holy place. Every Indian who participate in the pilgrimage tour should never miss the opportunity given by the Almighty to do Dharma not dhaanam as it will never give you moksha. For instance take Karnan. What you are going to see is not important than how much you are going to spent in the name of Dharma. In your life don't forget to save money to spend for the need people. It's their's badkarma and if you do something to pacify their needs it's your good karma which will reserve a seat for you in heaven. If you do regularly as far as possible you will see the a very good result in your life period. God is great. Thanks.

it is a wrong exaggeration, though it is difficult absolutely mesmerising and great to travel along the ganges. it is a real experience of namami Gange!. Tell people that today we have a Anthem for Ganga Maa, Srinagr is a wrong place to reach in the night. Plan for travel from rishikesh/dehradun or haridwar in the morning even by bus you can reach by evening. If required a break can be given at pipalkoti. there are plenty of planned travel agents who serve pilgrims and tourists as the place of interest for both. Bad efforts to misguide people by SUN TV. I have carried out the tour 5 times with little issues twice though. give cushion of atleast 12hours for train and flight connections during monsoon and winter.
