Thailand is the place where you can experience what it was like as a kid in NZ riding in the back of the Ute's. Did the ultimate a few years ago riding in the back of a ute during songkran with a 40-gallon drum with a huge block of ICE in it! Driving around the mad streets of Bangkok, watching ladyboys scream as they are hit with ice cold water. Try that now in NZ or Australia, and it's probably a loss of licence and being called an idiot, but just a normal day in Thailand!

Do decent older cars turn up in Thailand? Say a pre 1990 Mercedes or Japanese make ? I prefer 1980s and older cars as they are more owner servicable and simpler, i.e. fewer systems to fail and ease of servicability. Also, motorcylces other than scooters? I would be looking for a Cruiser type or a Retro, like Kawasaki W650 or 800 What are prices like compared to Australia? Considering relocating to Thailand.
@goodvibespattaya26 күн бұрын
They do mate, funnily enough I stopped at a yard yesterday that has some classic cars and going back today to make a video, I like 70/80’s cars as well 👍

@goodvibespattaya2423 How's that for timing?! I enjoy your videos mate! Subject matter is often a rung or two out of my budget level (for retirement) but the down to earth aussie take is instantly relatable. So many Yanks doing these vlogs and they are on a different wavelength. Looking forward to more and maybe one on availability of real bikes as opposed to Scooters and hybrids (Skikes or Booters!) I'd love to pick up Kawa W650-800 or An Indian made Enfield if/when i come over to live. Even the older Bullet 350s and 500s are a very versatile bike. Holiday first, recon mission and then maybe settle. Looks like a good life there, Aus is getting too hard and barely worth it.

Hey Jason I'm just wondering because I owned a 2007 Civic in the United States. The 2007 model was the last year to have an actual gearbox and the CVT started in 2008, not the opposite way around. When I went to sell it in 2016, it was on the market for about 4 hours and I got top dollar. Obviously things are different in different countries but are you sure you got the years right? 🤦🤣🤣🤣. I genuinely have no idea, just asking🤷
@goodvibespattaya11 ай бұрын
Hey Kev, I’m only talking about the Jazz and know the model very well and have the years right, well from an Asia Pacific perspective! I worked for Honda Australia as an Area Manager for a number of years and the data in the video is correct for AP, not sure about the States, markets globally do different things in terms of specs.

@@goodvibespattaya yes! I noticed later in the video that I did not recognize the engine in the jazz. The civic had the four cylinder dohc. That engine appeared to be something completely different.
