Brilliant, a perfect recommendation from youtube!! I've been looking to learn clubs for a while and your videos are by far the most interesting. I really like the rotations and fluidity of it all. Stands out from a lot of the styles I've come across so far.

Great video! I got into Indian Club Swinging from starting in Circus Club Swinging. That first swing that starts with cradling the clubs inside and then outside of your elbow is known as "snaking". You might find some interesting patterns in Sir Lorqs videos. His style is more geared towards visual intrigue, rather than exercise, but could inspire some new ideas. Keep up the great videos! 24 Club Hybrids: LORQ

Thanks for commenting. Yes glorious snakes, I have always wanted to do them with a heavier club, club length is really important. Still have to work on asynchronous snakes. Lots of time and patience. Thanks for the link to Sir Lorq's vids, have seen some of them but not the one you sent me. Will study in due course.

I've watched this a few times now and I must talk to you about the Persian Mils when we meet in Sheffield. They look too much for me to handle, but looking closely at your technique, it's probably a question of correct handling, rather than brute strength. I would also like to use the club routine at the end of the video, so some more details here would be good. I can't seem to get the hand twirls with the same weight of clubs. Would it be possible to bring a copy CD of the background beat you are using here - this is a perfect time check rhythm, or point me in the direction of where to get it? Regards, Charles

recremselrachnala There is a link in my description above, where you can download the drumbeats, enjoy. There are two tracks, one quicker and the other slower.

You make club swinging look amazing. Dying to get into it.. However; i have this little problem with hyper mobility in my shoulder joints. Both shoulders have been dislocated a couple of times. Partly ( or so i believe) because of the muscular imbalances thanks to my years of weightlifting.. So i actually am tight in certain muscles surrounding the shoulder joints; but also have a problem with dislocation when the muscles get weak. Anyone any advice with regards to club swinging? i was mostly thinking about just doing some light indian clubs for mobility and stability..
@Wolkowinski
@Wolkowinski 10 жыл бұрын
Thank you for commenting. Indian Clubs can definitely help you improve mobility. I recommend you buy Indian Clubs 1lb and 2lb (per club) the black polymer clubs are excellent to start with, and don't be put off by the weights, and remember that the clubs are swung with your arms fully extended most of the time, which in itself increases the load, plus you are dealing with centrifugal forces. I am preparing an online course at the moment, you are welcome to send me your email address to paul@indianclubs.com.au and I will add you to my list, and let you know when the course is ready. In the mean time, please visit my web page, where you will find some basic exercises to get you started, please note TAKE IT EASY in the begining. www.indianclubs.com.au/indianclubs/indian-club-tutorials/ Look forward to hearing from you.

Beautiful persian mils. All that zooming in and out has to go. Your film work is usually excellent but thanks for posting. I love the trunks. Are you going to market the image you have on them?
