Lancelot was the star of this episode. I love that he is comfortable enough now to venture around outside unassisted. When we saw the peacocks, we had no clue as to what was driving them to move. Then Steph mentioned that Lancelot was herding them. As soon as he heard his name he came bounding up to you....such a joy to watch. Then when Lancelot genuinely smiled for his close-up....that was just beyond....!!!!😊

Annalise has the prettiest face and the sweetest smile ...she really does seem like the kindest and most sincere soul. I wish we could see her more often ...even perhaps opening a permanent beauty shop at the chateau. Oh Stephanie, the chapel keeps revealing more and more of its originality. It’s beautiful and very moving to see. I think it pains me to wonder about all the many other historical buildings that haven’t been so fortunate to have someone like you with your passion and determination to restore the chapel so people will go on enjoying it for decades to come. Nothing of age, beauty and meaning should be allowed to fall into disrepair. I’m so happy for you/all at Lalande to have had such support from people in order for this work to be carried out by the expert craftsmen of today. You certainly make me smile Stephanie when I see you going down to the chapel in your foils! You really don’t care that the restoration men are there! It reminds me of the times when my mother and grandmother would have their curlers in with a hand scarf over them, popping out to the village shop.(Smiles)!
