As someone currently running a Meshlicious with the same cooler (pre rgb but with noctua chromax and phanteks halos) and a Tuf 3080, you can definitely make everything fit with room to spare. One really easy thing is running cpu and gpu cables behind the motherboard before you mount it to save on cable space. You can also shove the sata power connection to the pump behind there too. If you really need more room, you can remove the plastic cage around the AIO pump with a single screw to get more clearance. The pump already has a rubber bushing around it to quiet vibrations. Best of luck with your management!

@@Valkirth going for exhaust only creates negative pressure therefore pulling air from everywhere else. @joshwinter94502 жыл бұрын
Is there any reason to use an ITX case over an ATX case, besides size? If you have the space, wouldn't it make the most sense to use an ATX case? The more space inside your case equals more air flow and thus cooler components. Am I correct or am I correct?
@animegeek61182 жыл бұрын
People go itx because we don’t want a big ass oversized case taking up room on our desk. And if you do it right your temps are fine. I have a 5950x and a 6800 xt in the cool master nr200p max and my temps on cpu are 61c max and GPU is never above 68. So no size don’t always make the difference in airflow.
@MellowSkyy2 жыл бұрын
Air flow is determined by 1. Air pressure: created by the amount of space vs air coming in/out. A bigger case alone doesnt not provide cooler components, its the ability to equip more fans to induce more pressure. An smaller case can use lack of space to increase pressure. 2. Drag/Resistance: objects that slow or break the airflow: like cables. In a big case the amount of free space vs the amount of cables/components make this easy for bigger cases. In smaller cases this is hard as cables are harder to organize, and air may be taken in from more directions and be circulated to a central area So airflow isn't about the size of the case, but about these 2 principles. There was a really bad era where big cases had horrible airflow back in 2016-2018 where manufacturers wanted to sell big glass enclosures, rgb components and psu shrouds. The combination of glass on 3 sides choked out the rgb fans and the psu shroud partially blocked off the front radiator, some cases even had small feet so psu's were low to the ground. However the o11 case design became very popular as it was a big glass case with good airflow. Bottom fans using the concept of heat rises, side intake which fixed the problem of having front glass and psu on the back which fixed the psu shroud problem. Now as the 30 series graphics cards produce enormous amounts of heat, cases are returning back to airflow designs, such as mesh

I have a bigger board (I had to do some customization) but even with a rtx 3070, amd ryzen 7 64gigs of ram and a 1000psu. I have almost a wind tunnel of noctua fans. 2 140mm industrial 3000 rpm fans and 2 smaller ones on the cpu cooler all sucking air from the bottom of the case and blowing out the top. Not a fan of liquid cooling as it has too many failure points, And radiators take up too much space.

If you had a poor quality psu it "could" get hot. I used a thermaltake 850 in mine and it never ran hot, I eventually swapped to a 850 sfx (cause the full size was ruining riser cables). PSU barely puts out ANY heat, and if you have a AIO there is absolutly no reason to not have the glass panel on the cpu side. Your cpu and gpu temps will literally not change at all, I have run it without and with the glass panel. Also meshlicious gives 3d printed direction for feet for the case, I just bought a set for like 7 bucks and run 4 cables from my gpu with no problem.
