No one could beat him in telling lies. Jobs was only choosing companies for comparison that still did not announce new hardware for 2001. Hardware like the Compaq Evo N160 was way better compared to the iBook, thinner and everything was a "yes" and still "yes" when there was everywhere a big "no' for the iBook at a way higher price. Reminds me when he announced the Pro Mouse as if it was the worlds first in 2000... first modern optical mouse was released in 1999 by Microsoft (IntelliMouse) and prototypes were even made in early 1980s.

@@satyakambhampati8218 I will gently disagree : Best resolution ? no , you can search and find windows laptop with a 4K screen with more pixels than any MacBook retina. better colors in a consumer perspective? they are very good but they are not alone anymore check the 4k version of the dell xps 15.Yeah Dell counter Apple on that point but they have no shiny case though. thinner basels ? heck no ! Color accuracy for visual professional? This is not my field but what i know is it's color accurate have the only little issue to be a bit to bright and contrasted wich can be good or bad depending on your optinion the thing is Apple is in competition with itself by it's close system and what they are looking for now is more to attracked by service and small devices iPhone and Ipad than with their laptop line up.

@@onchkyCompare a laptop to another laptop would be more logical like comparing to a dell xps or surface book which are on par with professional monitors. @aquilaregalin19375 жыл бұрын
@Tripper Hole I don't know if you are just the typical 9 years old brat, that tries to act cool on the internet, or you have some kind of mental problems, but just so we are clear; all people have brains. And it is because I HAVE A BRAIN that I know that the KZbin algorithm should only recommend related stuff of what I watched till now (I never watched anything apple related). So I really don't understand what this 13 years old video is doing in my feed. Also do me a favor and do something positive with your life, insulting unknown people online only shows how sad your life actually is.

Given Steve Jobs was always in favor of the Macintosh being an appliance and wanting as few ports and cables as possible, he'd no doubt love the current MacBook offerings. Actually Apple was already removing things. Floppy's were still used. Working with line work, I would back up files on those things and take them to other computers. USB thumb drives weren't a thing in 2001. I think I got my first one in 2003. And they weren't disposable and cheap like now. Also Stephe Jobs revealed the Mac Book Air. At the time it costed more than a Mac Book Pro and removed almost everything. Just power and I think just one USB port. It was also weak. It was just different times.
