When it comes to presentation, no one could ever beat this guy
@daveb9402
@daveb9402 8 жыл бұрын
No one could beat him in telling lies. Jobs was only choosing companies for comparison that still did not announce new hardware for 2001. Hardware like the Compaq Evo N160 was way better compared to the iBook, thinner and everything was a "yes" and still "yes" when there was everywhere a big "no' for the iBook at a way higher price. Reminds me when he announced the Pro Mouse as if it was the worlds first in 2000... first modern optical mouse was released in 1999 by Microsoft (IntelliMouse) and prototypes were even made in early 1980s.

@@goldwyn19 apple philosophy is simplicity, so when they get rid of the port maybe its not bad idea, I mean I don't use all the port on my pc, I don't use ethernet port for example, and I've never used Thunderbolt and I've never used HDMI , I have wireless airpods so I don't use headphone jack on my pc , I use my pc every day at least 10 hours a day and I don't use them so I understand why apple just get rid of them but at the same time apple product is also to expansive if we compare it to pc in same specs , so maybe that's why I make fun of apple .

Paniekzaaier tje I know the different between “invent” and innovate and there are multiple definitions of the word “innovate” and I do not consider “to make changes” by Merriam dictionary as one of the appropriate use of the word “innovate” in this case. By using that definition, then every company is innovative. I certainly don’t expect that Apple to be the first to invent a completely brand new product but I do not think that making a product slightly better, slightly different design “innovation”.

Color accuracy for visual professional? This is not my field but what i know is it's color accurate have the only little issue to be a bit to bright and contrasted wich can be good or bad depending on your optinion the thing is Apple is in competition with itself by it's close system and what they are looking for now is more to attracked by service and small devices iPhone and Ipad than with their laptop line up.

USB thumb drives weren't a thing in 2001. I think I got my first one in 2003. And they weren't disposable and cheap like now. Also Stephe Jobs revealed the Mac Book Air. At the time it costed more than a Mac Book Pro and removed almost everything. Just power and I think just one USB port. It was also weak. It was just different times.
