Nice reaction. This is my favorite H mack vid. I’ve probably watched it 20-30 times somewhere and y’all didn’t miss hardly anything. The way he creates the main sound in the third beat (ecstasy beat), the one before the bass, is wild. My brain can’t compute whatever sound he put into the mic. That might be the only thing y’all didn’t catch in the whole video.

Beardyman's loopstation is like nothing else. Created by him and a software team, for him. Nothing else would keep up with his mind and put manipulate his voice as immediately as he wanted to create tunes on the spot. Remember - not one sample within that kit, his voice has to go in first, then he manipulates. The fact he does it all so quickly is insane. Two mastermind improv brains working together - pure fire.

The story is that he got to where he had so many computers and ipads put together cords going everywhere... he looked like he was in a literal spaceship cockpit. He got frustrated that he couldn't do what his brain wanted to do to get and results he had in his head so he spent years creating his own software

@itsandiroo there are some beardyman videos where he shows his setup. I guess its a sequencer that feeds a master bpm that triggers the loop pad, and then a vocal input that feeds into any of the 50 plugins on the screens. Of course he has a mastery level of beatboxing itself, and improv piano

Also beatboxing champion in the UK a few times, can't remember if he ever won internationally. Probs not as not a lot of people outside of the UK seem to know of this legendary humanoid biomass sound engine config. Good to see him again, he was always around the EDM scene late 90s early 2000s but then either he vanished or I did because I grew old, wandering through life picking up chunks of responsibility. Sisyphus got it easy the little wimp. At least for him it was always the same object. These days, the objects vary in shape and mass/size as does the mountain. Not only are we physically constrained, but our minds are imprisoned too. Whatever, i'm not complaining. Just saying how much easier peoples struggles were in the past.

Beardyman has been around years, was a champion beatboxer many years ago and is probably better known in the UK than Harry Mack is. It was Beardyman that led me to watch this first time around, I'd never heard of Harry then.

Definately still show him the GBB showcase but this was a great appetizer to that reaction. But he definately apprechiated Beardyman as much as I thought he would. For him specifically I recommend the Computer Magazine video about beardyman but not as a reaction. Just something you should send him he can watch privately. He goes over all the plugins he had at the time and how his rig works. For future beardy videos for him to see as reactiins I recommend the GBB showcase of course, but if you need something shorter "Every end is a beginning" is a fantastic Beardyman track which unlike most of his other stuff isn't a full freestyle. The setup is in view the entire time and I know he likes DnB.
