That's amazing~ I am so happy for you both!! My mom was adopted and really lucked out with being adopted by my grandparents~ they were fantastic parents and they adored her. My grandfather gave her her biological mother's info when she was still a teen, but my mom never had a desire to connect with her~ she always felt that she ended up with exactly the parents God wanted her to, and she was 100% satisfied with His choice. My mom passed away a year ago tomorrow at age 91. She gave my sisters and I her "bio" info in case we ever wanted to explore that, but we feel the same way she did. I believe when we get to Heaven we'll be able to make those connections. I wish you all the best and pray it continues to be transformative for both you, and your daughter~ God Bless 🙏

I am 62 now, and every word is still relevant in our society. It was the same when I was 20, and when I was born. Only now, with news and images at our fingertips, do we think these issues are new. It is just a continuous stream of history repeating itself, except the distance between the "haves" and the "have nots" grows more disproportionately.
