Wow, what a depressingly beautiful song. Makes me happy and sad at the same time. It's almost like I can relate to the music entirely. Love it.

Glad to see they picked an amazing vocalist (Allen Epley of Shiner, a band I like even more than Pelican)

NIce Song... I was flippin' through the music channels and stumbled upon this song... it instantly caught my attention! I'm not comparing, but it reminded me, at first, of TOOL. Anyway, glad I discovered this song.

lyrics are great. I mean, if you had never listened to Pelican before and heard this song it'd me "meh" but being a fan of Pelican, the vocals are really haunting and much more meaningful. I mean, it's an instrumental band. You can feel the inspiration. . . . .

As much as I like this song, I hope they stick to doing purely instrumental on their next album. I also wish there was an instrumental version of this on the album. I need Pelican to be my relaxing band. I simply can't have that with vocals.

ive loved this song since the first time i heard it, but in the wake of isis's breakup i can see a new spin on the song itself. a band like pelican, so heavily influenced by the style of bands like isis. final breath... its like a tribute to the band you know? though i know that's not what it was intended for obviously but it seems fitting to me... 'til the seas run dry.

Very interesting take on the old song by the Bard of Scotland, Robert Burns. However, it's definitely for my "Miscellaneous" play list rather than "Scotland" or "Burns".

@cardboarddalek I agree with the "majestic" bit, DO NOT AGREE with your "bored" bit AT ALL. I'm 100% sure that before making that comment, you had barely payed attention to the LYRICS, the MELODY in the vocals and strings, the CALM and hypnotizing drum pace. What carried you over, steadily in its arms, until you reached the "majestic" part, my friend, was nothing short of a beautiful, amplified love poem.

@MastermindRx Disagree. After hearing what Mr Allen Epley was invited to vocally add to this composition, I believe it would have been weaker without it. He has rarely ever joined them live, but when he does, he doesn't even step on stage. His decision so to interfere as less as possible with the band's live and instrumental presence. Check it out.
