I disagree with the closets, she had no need for them, he did. He only had them built with her agreement and in their plan to live together. TVs are about $300 - $400 for a nice big flatscreen, so no big issue there, nice lavish gifts and something they enjoyed together for many months no doubt. He didn't try to sue for the cruise or any other gifts, but he wanted some reimbursement for the permanent additions to her home that only she will enjoy now.

So, here's my take on dating sites. I've been on 2, both were free sites. I cannot get over how many 50 something guys I talked to that didn't have driver's licenses. If you are 50 or older, and you don't have a license (most due to a DUI) then chances are good , you're probably never going to get it back. There were also guys who broke up with someone, and just wanted to flirt with someone. Women get a bad rap for talking about their exs, but guys do the same. I did, however, meet my fiance on there.....mostly out of sheer luck lol. I did learn a valuable lesson, nobody likes to be rejected. I used to be ignorant back in my 20's at the clubs, shooting down guys that came up to my sister and me asking to dance.....now I know how it feels to send a message to a guy, and have him ignore you, or just send a one sentence answer to your question and never engage with you again. Karma's a bi*ch lol.

A couple of the girls are way in the past and I didn't cry and sue them after the break up or ask for the return of the gifts, I just went on. The woman I am now married to I bought several different cars/minivans in the 9 years we dated. We broke up for short time and while we were apart her van died so I gave her a car. It was cheap but I had feelings for her and I am a hard worker who makes decent money and I did it not expecting it was more than another gift. We've been married for 8 years now and things are great but if I was ever single and dating again I would still be generous and not petty if things went south. That just isn't cool.
