When I was sixteen, I realized I could pick the lock on my sister's diary. I read one line and was horrified and that was the end of my curiosity of anyone else's business. I put her diary away and I have never snooped or looked through another person's things ever since. It's best to be this way; to not know anything that is none of your business anyway. Ignorance really is bliss. Nothing good ever comes from snooping. I never get jealous of my girlfriend or look through her phone and if I'm a fool to be so trusting, so be it. It's senseless to worry about what others do. If you have to snoop, you really don't understand how to give the same respect that you expect from others.
@Jermz197916 күн бұрын
My wife and I have shared our passwords forever. We aren't glued to our phones, so I may not have mine on me and she does or vice versa. It's not uncommon for one of us to pick up the other persons phone to look something up, order food, or whatever. I've given my wife full access to my phone and I have full access to her phone. Nothing to hide and no reason to hide it. I share all my secrets with her and she shares all hers with me. While I agree that snooping isn't conducive to a relationship, not being willing to be an open book isn't conduce to an open and loving relationship. I'd personally wouldn't be with a partner that wasn't willing to share their passwords. If I can't trust you with that information and you can't trust me, why are we together? Let me clarify, I mean long term, I don't mean new relationships.
