Hi Roman, Greetings from Montreal. I almost jumped out of my chair when you put your foot through the floor into the mice screen to the ground !! I hope you got that hole secured. I think it is better to protect from mice, and not see them, then forgo the protection and they show up in droves in the winter !! Now the framing of the walls and some windows too !! You kept putting on layers, is it getting that cold where you are ? Where are you ??

I have seen several mistakes that were made incorrectly. First of all, the film was placed upside down with the wrong side up because now the moisture can flow from the outside to the inside and not the other way around because it is only open to diffusion in one direction. Secondly, insulating wool Never compress it because cold bridges form there and if the foil is applied incorrectly, condensation forms. You can then imagine what happens then.
