Maplewalnuht hahah well I now mostly cook for myself so when I cook I make the effort to have everything vegan! (Still weening myself off of certain candies) and when I eat out (now very rare) i sometimes opt for vegetarian options that may contain cheese or a sauce that’s not vegan. hahaha hope that helped 😬

@setitheredcap26776 жыл бұрын
*3 Stars* The curry was smooth, with the cumin providing a little underlining spice, and ginger an aromatic crunch. However, the “Perfect” Jalfrezi was in fact close to average. It tasted okay but had no wow factor. I added coriander for a little extra taste and served with brown rice. I would eat if there was nothing better, but unfortunately, it isn’t something I would look forward to.

ya but ...its supposed to be cooked in this dish.
@Melissa.Garrett5 жыл бұрын
You could use frozen cauliflower, that might cook in 5 minutes? Although honestly, the 5-minute limit seems unnecessary to me - I like to take my time and relax cooking, it’s like therapy that way! 👍🏼
@MICHAELT19725 жыл бұрын
One of the best Vegan cooking KZbin channel but, now, what is it with that 5 minutes countdown with ingredients that need to combine, to simmer and cook min 15 min to taste really good??? You guys have so much original ideas and your own so original way to deliver it to us. 5 min for an omelette maybe, 5 min for a salad, a stir fry if everything is already chopped and ready near the wok...When I'm cooking one of your great recipes, I take time to relax cooking and enjoy it and that would be at least 30 min.
@arianabuilding35476 жыл бұрын
Nice idea but it needs longer than 5 minutes to cook properly.I will make this though and give it longer

Guys, don't your fingers get spicy from chopping the chili peppers just like this with bare hands? Mine do and then even when I wash them properly with soap they are still sometimes tingling or when I accidentally scratch my eyes it hurts like hell. Therefore I need to use gloves. :) But you guys always just use bare hands, it's impressive!

Why does it always have to be 5 minutes? There's really no reason not to put a lid on the pan and let this simmer for ~10 minutes while cleaning up the kitchen and setting the table...

All the vegetables can only be raw . They effectively cooked between 3 mns & 30 seconds ! Its probably not even warm .This is silly , the whole process should take at least 30mns.
@LRCollier6 жыл бұрын
Baby Woman The good thing about vegetarian cooking is that you can cook to preference. Some might prefer their meals on the raw side
@babywoman89196 жыл бұрын
LRCollier Raw curry ? Really ? I am vegan myself and eat either raw or cooked , but raw vegetables in lukewarm tomato sauce ? I am far from being sold .
@LRCollier6 жыл бұрын
Baby Woman Sure why not? Uncooked meat can be dangerous for obvious reasons but I don't think the rules apply so strictly for vegetables. I'd cook it longer myself but I'd still eat it their way
