I have packed 3M sockets with medicated resorbable gauze for over 40 years without any issues. I am not familiar with the studies you are referring to. Hey, when you do endo, do you ever take a file Xray or no?

Normally I do not take a trial file radiograph. I use the Apex Locator. I take a radiograph of the gutta purchase cone in the canal/canals prior to placing the sealer.
