what a vibrant person! fun to watch. Two days ago I got up early in the morning for paying respect to a meeting called "Sacred Ground On A Burning Planet" that took place in Vancouver, Canada, which was attended mainly by a Salish woman, Dawn Morrison (Secwepemc) and Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. Moderated by Dr. Pasang Yangjee Sherpa, a Nepalese, working academically in Canada, as far as I got. Watching this vid here and having the meeting in Canada in mind, I repeatedly sense feelings like having nothing left over (seemingly) from traditions here in central Europe, Germany, but instead lots of burdens. That hurts terribly. But on the other hand that has to be felt and expressed even for the reason to acknowledge the fact of relating to responsiblity, self care and true historic events. I am not looking for comfort.

As a white American I feel you. At one time we at least had a folk culture going in this stolen land, but we moved to the cities and lost everything. Or distorted it.

Someone who interviews people in fields of high technicality has to be able to translate the very specific and technical things that the expert says into a lay understanding. Dr. Rune, you did a great job! I loved the enthusiasm of this interview and I’ll be watching the full performance.
