Persol PO 649 Size Comparison 52mm vs 54mm

52mm looks better in my opinion, especially since you don't have a giant head or face. Much classier which suits this style of sunglasses. A nice tailored sport jacket and freshly pressed shirt, sipping espresso on the Italian Riviera. The 54's are nice, but closer to an active/sport style pair of shades.

Imo they both look good. But there's one thing to keep in mind. On 52mm version, temples are short and they will hurt after some time of wearing the sunglasses. For those who have smaller faces/heads, should fit perfectly.

Yes good point, almost bought the smaller ones but noticed that the temples are 135, which is way too small for me, 140 min. Wish they had "normal" temple sizes too with the narrow size, haven't seen many pairs with 135 before

They both look great! You do have a slim face. You can’t really go wrong. Someone with more of a round face (chubby) cheeks or a little more hefty looking definitely need the larger of the two. Great quick overview 😊

I think the 52mm would fit me better but I'm sad that the temple length is 135mm, it might be too short, it's a dilemma.

Great review. I bought the 52mm and the worst thing about them is that the temples are to short for my face. Had to change them. Go for the standard ones unless you are a child...or child sized.

Both look good. The look of each is a bit different as the lenses are different. I think the 54mm look better on you and the lenses are a bit darker. The arms on the 52mm appear too short for you. I have a pair of the 56mm size.

I bought these in 54mm, I live in Phoenix. It gets so hot here, I left them in the car overnight, I got to the car about 4pm. The stems had heated so much, they sent-melted and now the fit is all loose. 😔

The small are a much better for your face shape … in my opinion they are great shades just picked up a pair and brought the small in black with green lenses …👍🏻🇨🇦

I noticed right at the bottom of the Persol website there is a size guide link, according to them 90% will find the standard size should fit them, I followed the procedure and i should be standard but have the 714 in a wide fit 54 lens and the temple arms still bend slightly so their size guide doesn't work for me.

😭 now the tample shape is compromise due to temple adjustment and i can't properly close the sungglases temple i mean everytime i close it and put it in the case its not perfectly aligned so there's a friction between the two temples...any advices for solving this problem?
