In these uncertain times, it's more important than ever to have a solid understanding of how to manage your finances, invest wisely and navigate economic downturns. But my primary concern is how to grow my reserve of $240k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains, sure I'm all in on the long term game, but with my savings are lying waste to inflation and my portfolio losing gains everyday, I need a remedy.

Today, Wed 22 May 2024, I collected on 4 'friendly' wagers. While most people were crowing about gold hitting new highs, and silver over $32, I was frantically trying to remind them of the fact that the CRIMINALS are in charge - there are NO markets!!! Of course, people believe what they wanted to believe, and so my words fell on deaf and dumb ears. Well, I collected on 4 of those dummies, who ridiculed and bet against me that gold and silver would be hammered down in a matter of days. WHAM, today the hammer fell HARD!!! - thanks for nice dinners, gents - try harder to listen to ol' Jorge!!! 🙂 Peter is once again trying to keep people from fleeing the "investment" crowd by convincing them that "there really ARE markets", which is a load of BS.

You can still find silver dimes and quarters. Even rolls from the bank have them. I've made videos showing how to quickly search a roll doing what you described. Basically you look down the edges looking for a monochrome or "frosted" edge. Another trick is, if you pass by a CoinStar coin machine, check the reject tray down low. Often times in the noisy racket of the machine processing the coins, people don't know stuff is going in there. It's like a little cubby hole. I've found MANY silver coins as well as random international in those trays just walking by and checking them.

we USED to destroy thouands of tons of silver each year, in the pursuit of Photography. That has not been true for at least 20 years now. There's no shortage of silver, if there ever IS, they can always re-open the silver mines that were closed for WW2, forcing the miners to move into copper for the war-effort. Without the pumps working, those shafts filled up with water and the log-shoring rotted, collapsing the shafts. HOWEVER, if the price of silver goes above $100 per oz, you can bet your butt that those mines will be re-opened.

Peter, in order to shut up the people who tell you that inflation is NOT the expansion of money supply, give the example of everyone suddenly stop working. The prices of all goods would of course rise dramatically, but this is not inflation, yet modern economists would determine this to be "inflation". And if not, how would they determine the difference between a price increase being caused by their "inflation" or other mechanisms. I am just like you firm on the definition of inflation / deflation being the volume of something, which was the original meaning of the word. Inflate a tire, inflate a balloon, inflate an argument, ... yet prices do not rise or fall but they inflate instead now? It does not make sense. If so, DJIA is also inflating then, which paints a 2x picture for the past couple years.

Peter, I did the same in the 70‘s and 80‘s, picking silver coins out of the change. Days long gone now! 😢

My first job was in ‘85 as a waitress. I started collecting them but they were still few and far between. In 2 years I probably collected 10 😫 they were always left by older people, bless ‘em

I have lost lots of money the last 10 years listening to Schiff but the wait, and the pain, seems to be starting to pay off. I am confident in the very long-term, his advice will be the right advice.

The gold stocks are far from their 2011 highs because there has been massive dilution in their shares. Newmont's shares outstanding doubled since 2011.

I’m amazed that America still produces 1&2 cent coins. Even 5 cents (nickels) should be abolished. Australia got rid of 1&2 cent coins decades ago. (1992). We just round it up or down to the nearest 5 cent value. Even taxes are not levied in cents, but rather the dollar amount only.
