Peugeot 308 GTi: Silicone Turbo Inlet Hose Install

Today I received the Comkotes Tuning silicone inlet hose, and in this video you can see how to fit it, and how great it looks under your bonnet!
I have the black version, but the hose is also available in a striking red colour.
This hose is available from other vendors, but Comkotes Tuning are the only company who actually machine their own metal fittings so they clip perfectly into your engine bay. I previously tried a non-machined version and none of the pipes fitted correctly. This one worked first time as you’ll see in the video.
This is a great ‘plug-and-play’ upgrade for just over £100.

Any differnce on the accelaration?? I am thinking to.put a forge one in my peugeot 207 turbo!!

Not really - it’s mainly a part which allows you to then upgrade other parts.

Could someone tell me why do I need to replace this turbo inlet hose when I have problem with check engine light? This is what my dealership stated. I still don’t know why.

Maybe a split which is causing a pressure anomoly.

@@BradPhilpot You are probably right. Now I know results. It's P1338 as missfiring on 2nd cylinder. I had several runs with that car and nothing was wrong but then it's started doing again. They want to charge me 850eur for labor + materials. Haven't you had similiar issue with yours ?

James Goodwin Yes that’s right. I had a 208 GTi 30th. Same registration (it was number 99 hence Y99 PUG)

Yeh thought i saw the plate on a different pug before. I had a 208 GTi by PS for 6 months...was a great little car. Really underrated. What other mods have you done to the 308?
