Dear Sir, My elder brother Late: Mr. Prashanth passed away on 06-Feb-2018, he hasn't withdrawn his PF amount with (Previous employer 2013 to 2017) & his current employer (2017- 2018) PF Account is active. UAN is common for both the PF account. Material Status : Single (Unmarried) As per our record, the nominee is his Mother name C.K.Sathyarathy in both the companies. Previous employer says, I went to PF office and briefed the entire case about Mr. Prashant. As per PF officials transfer the Previous employer contribution to current company first to take max benefit of pension scheme & EDLI benefits. That is why I submitted their transfer claim to your company but you rejected the same. If they wanted to withdrawal their Previous employer contribution why they forward a letter along with transfer claim (Form 13) to Current PF office with copy to you. Please advise, which is the better way. Suzuki employers is GOOD i.e. transfer the PF amount to current employer and then Apply for pension scheme & EDLI benefits. Current employer, is telling us to resubmit FORM13 from previous employer. Should we follow the same. Or else is there any alternative way. Note: Please send email to [e-mail]

Can you please explain the process for PF withdrawal by nominee after death of employee in case of PF exempted companies. What are the forms to be submitted? What to do if they are delaying the process ?(EPFO has no passbook as the funds are with the trust but they have not closed it yet. Its still shows active) .Is there any interest to be paid by company for delay in payment for 6 months. And can the nominee opt to get the entire accumulated fund in pf without opting for pension? If pension is mandatory then till how many years will the pension be provided to the nominee? Please reply as this is an urgent query.

सर मेरा केस कुछ अलग है। मैं बिहार का रहनेवाला हूं और यहां ज्यादातर शादिया बिना रेजिस्ट्रेशन के होती हैं। मेरे बड़े भाई साहब जो कि इस दुनिया मे नहीं है उनकी डैथ से 6महीने पहले ही वो और उनकी पत्नी affidavit के माध्यम से अलग हो चुके थे जिसमें दोनों के परिवार वालो की भी सहमति थी। चूंकि रेजिस्टर्ड शादी नहीं थी इसीलिए डाइवोर्स भी affidavit के माध्यम से हुआ था रेजिस्टर्ड नहीं और उन दोनो का कोई बच्चा भी नहीं है। मेरे पापा द्वारा pf क्लेम किया गया जो यह कहके रिजेक्ट कर दिया गया कि डाइवोर्स रेजिस्टर्ड नहीं है। मजिस्ट्रेट से रेजिस्टर्ड डाइवोर्स कॉपी चाहिए अब चूंकि भाई साहब जिंदा नही है तो अब हम क्या करें नही लड़की या लड़की पक्ष वालो से हमारा कोई संपर्क है। कृपया अपनी राय दिजिए। धन्यवाद
