People always talk about fighter pay but don’t understand why the UFC is run the way it is. It’s a profitable business, every other promotion has fallen through because they wanna pay better than Dana without the means and this hurts the fighters in the long run.

Thoroughly enjoyed strike Force, WEC and even the 2nd version of Bellator. Watch Japanese, Russian, ONE MMA. Could never get into PFL. Best ecample of promotional malpractice.

Pfl is pretty garbage. The last few events were dire. Not that the ufc has been much better recently. Mma dying, got me into watching sumo.

Belator was pretty garbage but it had better fighter than PFL. This was proven when the merger happened and they had the PFL vs Belator fight card. On this card, the Belator champion did a clean sweep except for the heavy weight Ryan bader who lost to Renan Ferera. It truly showed how low lvl the PFL were. ONEfc is dead now anyways as they seem to have given up on MMA. The only true organization is UFC. PFL can not figure out how to market themselves as an organization full of UFC reject. The best fighter they have right now is Dakota and if they lose her when her contract expires August 2025.....they are doomed. PFL and UFC are going to be sending that girl big contracts.

Bellator has always been terrible at promoting itself. Before the buy out, if you typed in "Bellator #222" or whatever number, it wouldn't even be the first result. If you went to their website, it would be promoting the most recent event, but it wouldn't show the card. You had to navigate the site for a few minutes to find it. They had no social media presence, and the only reason you'd be able to know it was fight night was because the promo guy would get on Twitter and complain about lack of viewership.
