Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by comedian and KZbinr Tim Dillon for an interview in which the comic discusses his thoughts on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, people trying to 'cancel comedy' after a clip went of Jimmy Carr making some dark jokes went viral and more.
Tim explains that he in fact ‘loves' Harry and Meghan because he believes they have 'revived' reality TV in America and finds their Netflix documentary funny due to their lack of 'self-awareness’ as they 'moaned from inside a castle'.

@Jasmine69420
@Jasmine69420 9 ай бұрын
Everyone but boomers and chat GPT bots are shadow-banned these days. I'm not so sure it's a bad thing though, my social media reach became so decimated that I just wound up giving up every platform except youtube and started learning to play music with my friends and in doing so I've actually found I'm changing a lot more hearts and minds with my politics locally than trying to appeal to people online. I honestly probably should be working on something instead of typing this now but old habits die hard and I do sense more of a genuine appetite for unity online so who knows/cares? Not even me that much tbh.
@Cornell90
@Cornell90 9 ай бұрын
@@Jasmine69420 I think that's sad. You gave up, they won over you. And somehow, you accepted it with ignorance. I have friends who are just like you. Too weak to speak up, just wants to live their life. You don't have the balls to speak up. 9 out of 10 comments from me is getting deleted. I keep on trucking. Nothing can compare to the hatred I got towards our political system and our "elites". People in the army comes close. We are heading into a big war. We have the internet, people are waking up. There is no stopping this. How long it will take to wake most people up I don't know, but it will happen. And when it happens, it will be the end of all of us because it's too late. The new wars won't be country vs country. It will be the politicians and the elites vs the rest of the world. And most likely, atom bombs are gonna be dropped. This is just gonna happen. 1+1 equals 2 everytime. There is no way to keep propaganda going in the age of the internet. You can do it for some years.. but not for too long. And it already is happening.. people are waking up. And you are happy you don't have to think about this anymore. Ofcourse you live a better life now, you don't want to look at reality anymore. You are living better now, until you don't. And that's the sad truth.

Jimmy Carr explained why he doesn't censor himself years ago: "I make jokes about rape, holocaust, cancer, dead children but it's the one thing specific to YOU that offends you." Jokes are subjective and comedians are professionals, sometimes the joke can be a bad joke without actually trying to cause offense or harm to a group of people/person.

A lot of public scrutiny of comedians also comes from people who simply just don't engage with the craft beyond the odd television special. I have attended open mic nights where I have witnessed people bomb on shit that if it were projected to a platform as large as jimmy carr has that comedian would hands down wake up the next morning to find all of their skin missing and a crowd of concerned civillians with pitch forks at the end of their bed. That being said though, Dave chapelle's trans jokes are dogshit because he doesn't know any trans people, all of the best trans jokes I hear come from other trans people and comedians who actually know trans people and they get wayyyyyy darker than dave ever could. People actually like laughing at themselves, what people don't like is people who do not like them who do not want to understand them talking shit about them to audiences of thousands of potentially impressionable people and as much as I love comedy reality is that most people who attend comedy shows do so because they are fucking boring and not funny so they need a comedian to help them laugh, it's like changing an old person's shit bag in a nursing home except for people who have lost the ability to entertain themselves instead of USE BATHROOM.
