I love your workouts, Caity! As one of the comments here mentioned, not impossibly challenging, but still a solid one. So it works really well with someone like me who had stopped any Pilates exercise or any exercise whatsoever for the last two and a half years post partum, and just started again two months ago, only to stop one month ago due to illness. Now, I'm trying to go back to the routine again, and your videos are the ones I'm looking for. Btw, you are also very beautiful. Thank you for the nice instructions. And since I can't afford gym yet right now, free videos like this are really a blessing. Thank you again.

Fantastic video! As a male in my 50's who's worked out his entire life I really like Pilates. Planks can be challenging for those just getting into it. For beginners you may want to first try going down to your elbows (instead of on your hands with arms fully extended) with your arms bend and elbows on the mat. It's less intense but still very effective, and then work your way up to fully extending the arms after your core strengthens. Just a suggestion.

I enjoyed all Caitlin's workouts. Instrunctions are very clear and she's easy to follow, but challenging at the same time. Exercises are effective. She is the best! I hope she will male other videos or dvds to have the chance to follow her despite the distance. Thankyou Caitlin.

Very nice classic mat Pilates with a killer plank sequence at the end. The plank sequence is perhaps more challenging than the rest of the class so it would be nice to offer modifications for beginners. Altogether a great class for those proficient already. Not a criticism, just a suggestion to make it more accessible. Thanks for a lovely class!

Thanks for providing another great video! I am pretty much exclusively using eFit30 now as it is almost as good as being right in class. I'm just struggling with two things at the moment: 1. Neutral spine - when I follow Caity's advice of 'balancing a cup' I've noticed there is a lot of space under me - I'm not sure if I am doing it right or if my back is just really arched? When I've attended classes in the past they've said you shouldn't be able to fit more than two fingers underneath, but I can easily fit my whole hand. However, if I try to flatten it, then my 'cup' would spill. So a bit confused! 2. My tailbone is killing me. Well, not literally. But I am finding it is hurting increasingly even just lying on my back trying to work out the above. It started off just trying to do 'rolling on a ball' and roll down type exercises, but now it's pretty much everything. Hopefully, you can help as I have made huge progress in few weeks!
@efit307 жыл бұрын
Hi, Taryn, it's hard to comment on your form without seeing you, however. I'm not sure this should hurt your tailbone in any case. What sort of floor are you exercising on? So What I think is maybe your floor is too hard, and this is hurting your tailbone. Do you use a mat? If not or if it is too thin it may be worth rolling a towel up under the part that is sore. This exercise should definately not hurt you, and if so then something is wrong, and you should stop. See if that helps.

This was very easy for me, am I doing it right? I have had experience with Pilates in the past with Blogilates. I do prefer this exercise more as I think Blogilates is way to crazy and I don't like the high reps. Should I continue with this?
@efit308 жыл бұрын
+Ayla KM yes I would say you are doing it right. It may just be easy for you. Katie has more videos you may want to try here kzbin.info/aero/PLnciynPp7cylOKXhWpwD34JVCUWAq5MZC. There are also other EFit30 instructors I think it will depend which muscle groups you have been working previously. It's good to vary routines every few weeks to get balanced exercise.

Follow this 6 week program and mix it up a bit. It's not just for weight loss. Getting visible abdominal muscles is mainly achieved by having very low body fat, which we don't necessarily recommend. A health weight using an BMI index is best. There is a calculator on our website. www.efit30.com/slash-excess-pounds-with-this-six-week-bootcamp-program/
