I've been a fitness instructor for 30 years in all different disciplines ( as well as trained other instructors to teach) ,except pilates reformer and yoga . I'm very particular of how I want to experience taking a class from someone else . That being said, I love all your reformer classes I have done in the last three months on your you tube. . You do an excellent job of transitions , queuing and timing. Thank you for sharing your talent and expertise!

WONDERFUL! Im 50 years old and remarried 10 years ago. Used to do pilates prior was in great shape and felt wonderful. I finally purchased a long time wanted reformer and can tell that Dez fit knows her stuff ! My trainer used to tell me i have great understanding of the body and what its suppose to do. I however have lost my touch, but can identify that DEZ HAS THE CONCEPT OF BODY AND MUSCLES AND WHAT ITS TO DO. Not only does her body demonstrate shes track but she was smart and kind enough to share that talent. THANK YOU FOR HELPING AN AGING WOMEN , MOTHER OF THREE GET BACK ON TRACK!!!!!! I NEVER GIVE REVIEWS EITHER, BUT GIRL YOU GOT IT GOING ON !!! THANKS FOR SHARING. IM BUYING A REFORMER FOR BOTH HOUSES !!! I WAS DOING SPIN CLASSES FOR A YEAR, STARTED SWIMMING A MILE EVERY DAY SINCE COVID BUT SOMEthing was missing.......PILATES BABY!!!!

I think this is may favorite of Dez's reformer workouts but that's a hard choice. She has the best reformer workouts that I have found on KZbin! Her cuing is spot on and always there when I need it - seems she know when I am not tightening my glutes or engaging my abs! I workout in another setting with weights but have been struggling with some back pain caused by iliopsoas issues and this has been the perfect complement to help resolve this! Thank you so much and keep em coming!

So I practice in my garage and intended to do this without the box because I don't have one but as you started describing the setup for the box I realized I was staring at a cooler that is the exact size of a box. It hit me and I am now sooo excited expand my practice to include exercises with a box. I have been missing all the side work and back work that is more accessible with a box. My budget reformer and makeshift setup might now be complete! Thanks for a great workout! (*I, of course, do not recommend using anything unstable or that you're not comfortable with but my small cooler is just the right size for my reformer when laying it on its side.)

This is a wonderful workout! I always feel invigorated after doing it. It also gives me an upbeat feeling, and it makes me happy. You are a phenomenally good instructor. Your communication is excellent. You have a precise way of doing an exercise but you always provide alternatives for people who are not as strong as you. I like your words of enthusiasm for those who good at the exercise and your words of support for those who are struggling with the exercise.

This was really good, such a wonderful combination of flow and balance with just enough "stretch".. of course short box foot extension sequence interlaced with squats is just brutal, but the whole thing was so good that i'm not even going to hate you for it

I have just found your channel and I love the workouts!! I recently bought an aero Pilates machine so I am not 100 % sure if I am using the right spring tension, so I go by what I can do to keep good form. Thanks for your great workouts. 😊🦋

I love your workouts. I use them all the time. I am a tallish bloke so it would be handy, especially when using the box, if I really need it. I know you are a shorty so would need the box for some of your routines but I need to stop and remove it. It's only a small thing. Keep up the great work and all the best to you and hubby with the new bub when it comes. ❤❤

PS suggestion if you're open, to a short "technique tips' video (maybe on Insta?) regarding mermaid/hawk for folks who are tighter in the hips and lumbar, even with the modified front leg), so that we hit the appropriate target/s. Thank you!

Yes! I tried to give ideas and modifications throughout the workout. The abdominal section on the box is probably the longest but can be subbed with exercises such as long stretch, knee stretches, elephant etc or I even suggest sitting off to the side of your reformer on a mat if you would like to do similar movements! Lunges can definitely be done without. Hope this helps!
