Nice Ms. Lauren ! HA I was surprised you didn't have us balancing a glass of water on top of the ball when we were holding it between our legs. I think I was able to work every square inch of my body with this ball.

These exercises are deceivingly simple, but when you sit on that balance ball and you work through the exercises your body is like: whoa, don't think I ever used those particular muscles before. I have 3 or four books, balance ball, balance ball with weights, pilates with strength bands, dumb bells, and many different combination exercises that use several of the before mentioned techniques. I can honestly say that cross training between these is quite challenging. Sometimes I want to whine when I notice some muscle pain, but it disappears after a while if I don't overdo it. I have never before done so many different kind of strengthening exercises but there is no doubt they are of benefit.

I did this yesterday...still recovering! 😅! I LOVED it and all of the large stability ball workouts. I only fell off the ball twice! They were gentle falls though. Thank you Lauren for an awesome channel. I try and do a video daily. I don't consider myself a senior quite yet, but will always be a beginner.

I’m very out of shape and don’t have condition to do hard exercises. This is almost the first time I could do a good workout without having to stop all the time. Very energizing, subscribing to you 🎉❤

As winter is coming, my daily walk comes to an end here in Michigan. First time exercising with you, and I loved this workout. I am 59 and feeling less active, so I really want a daily workout for the winter. This workout is perfect for me. Thank you

I just started to workout with a ball after only running and jogging on treadmill for years. I’m SO glad I found you Lauren!!!! I love how you explain every move with breath work and the areas you work with your calming voice. A huge thank you for all the great videos! This was perfect, I am a young senior in very good shape. I would say it was Intermediate Level. Serious Pilates, however. Very simple movements but POWERFUL. Great teacher. Thank you!

Thank you so much! I love it! And it was very easy on my knees (I suffer from patellar dislocation ) and they hurt all the time and it gives in quite often. So I had found this exercise very comfortable and easy to do. Thank you for this.

I adore ball exercises and this one was wonderful. I felt it in my legs and in my abs, and those push ups were a real pleasure since even I could do them. i swim in the morning and at night i do pilates w you for my legs and inner tights ... feeling perfect ... but you're a machine !!! im on the floor right now and writing to you a thank you for the best pilates ball video on youtube ... very intense in a vey short time. you talk so smooth and cute but its not like that girl ... Im screaming while doing it hehe but it totally worth it !!thank you so much !!

Wow! This was totally out of my comfort zone and gives me lots to work towards! I thought my core was stronger than it is! My hips are super loose now! Can't wait to see myself progress. Someday I'll hope to be able to stretch as low as you with my legs straight. For now I'm barely bending forward. :(

Great workout, really good for my 70 year old hips! What size of ball do you use? Mine is smaller than yours , should I get a bigger one to get the most out of the session? Really love the variety of your videos, excellent!

Thanks so much Jane! My ball is a 65cm. The appropriate size ball depends on how tall you are. If you are shorter then 5'5 then a smaller ball is probably fine. You can also try adding more air to make it bigger. When you sit on it, you want the top of your legs to be parallel to the ground. If your knees are much higher, then you may benefit from a larger ball. Hope that helps!

May depend on how pregnant you are. In the last trimester, you usually want to avoid laying flat on your back for too long.

Liked this workout but had difficulty on the one when you hold the ball behind when laying face down.

It IS tricky Linda. I suggest working on your chest and shoulder flexibility. Most of us are tight on the front sides of our body from sitting too much, or on our phones, computer, etc…

Для меня упражнения на растяжку задней поверхности бедра и спины невыполнимы ввиду отсутствия той самой растяжки.

They shouldn't be impossible. Flexibility is just one of those things that is difficult at first, but gets better as you work on it.

Please refer to my other response to your comment Sylvia. Specifically, in this video, I would avoid the move where our knees go side to side with the ball between them.
