Pink-footed geese and the Wyre-Lune sanctuary

Wild geese in a wild place. The Wyre-Lune sanctuary near Cockerham in Morecambe Bay was established in 1963 by the Morecambe Bay Wildfowlers Association. It is now the home for tens of thousands of over-wintering pink-footed geese. This film documents their daily life and the environment that has helped them to flourish so well.

Cracking foreshores by us on the lune plenty of geese about never done wildfowling never had the chance I do more inland but cracking footage i take kids to watch the geese fly
