My old girl would hear my housemate/Bff coming home, and she'd leap up from us snuggling, and go poke around her teddies, until she had the perfect one to show her. No one could touch them, she just had a show and not tell minute. Also, as she ran down the stairs, her tail would go round and round, like a feathered windmill. Eventually she brought them back home with me, I not only keep her two but have since adopted another. I live in an apt complex. Originally people would turn & walk the other way if we were headed toward them. Theyve since learned these 3 dogs are big babies. They let everyone pet them. My next rescue will be a pittie….i love them…. My mum and dad had a beautiful white girl that just showed up on their farm one day… they named her .Dixie… that dog HATED ME… I walk with a cane and I think whoever had her probably beat her with a stick and she associated my cane with that stick… she wouldn’t let me anywhere near her and it saddened me so much… when my sweet .Gabriel passed away, I was kneeling on the ground, laying him in his final resting place under a big maple tree where many of our past fur babies now rest… well, Dixie didn’t like this and she bit me on the bum… everyone laughed… but not me… I wanted to be friends with Dixie but she never did warm up,to me… I got to let her ONCE in all the years she lived on the farm… it was the Fourth of July and she was terrified of the fireworks… she jumped up in my lap and just shook… I stroked her and spoke softly to her… when everything stopped, it was like she suddenly realized where she was… she nipped me and jumped down… that was the only time I ever was able to even touch the dog… whenever I would go out there, i just gave her her space… I knew she would never accept me and I curse whoever beat her with a stick… she passed away a couple of years ago and I helped bury her out under the maple tree with the others… I had to smile while I was kneeling down as I cautiously was looking around waiting for her to bite my bum again lol… I hope to adopt a girl like her one day… until then, I have some fond memories of a special girl who liked to bite me on the bum…. Lol

I think Bubby's owner's observation about why he does this answers a burning question for dog lovers. These dogs with super adorable and endearing behaviours, dogs like Bubby and Zeusy the Pittie and Maisy the Pit Bull all have an incredible bond with their humans. They pick up on the delight of their owners and keep doing things to get that reaction. It is that deep connection that makes the dogs do so many wonderful things to show their appreciation to their people. This dog is truly wonderful!

They look too adorable in their pajamas. Thank you for showing everyone that this breed isn't a dangerous breed that only knows how to be aggressive. @showbizonastick are you kidding? Pitties are the sweetest breed. None of the MANY I've known have never attacked a human or animal. They're always big cuddle bugs unless mistreated, which is the same with any dog!

@showbizonastick There’s a documentary TV show on Nat Geo Wild titled Dog Impossible featuring a talented trainer who specializes in dogs that have been labeled too aggressive or are scheduled to be put down. His mantra is, “There’s no such thing as a ‘bad dog’!” And after watching at least a dozen episodes, including 1 involving a 3-pitbull house, wherein 2 were at each other’s throats (literally) all the time, I now agree with that. Yes, I’ve seen a pit turn on a dime from nice and calm to trying to pull out another dog’s throat with it’s locked jaws, but it’s also important to know the whole story. In the latter case, it was a combination of a pit bull (not neutered) who had been taught how to fight, & a husky (younger male) who decided it’d be quite fun to try to mount him. After his convalescence, that husky had learned a valuable lesson. And the horrified and embarrassed pitbull owner (who was not the dog-fighting trainer) personally wrestled his dog’s jaws open to release the victim, and left the leash-less dog park, never to return. Unfortunately.

@showbizonastick Actually they really cant😂 there is a HUGE misunderstanding about pitties!! Any dog breed if provoked the right way can turn aggressive, its all about how trained they are and how they are living. For example, how owners and others treat them including other animals. I myself have had pitties and never had an issue. A pug, yorkie, Chihuahua, lab, poodle etc.... can have the same ''aggressive'' response to a situation just as any dog breed. It's best to do research and actually be around and getting to know a certain breed before casting any judgments on a particular breed!!!

Every “Retriever” type of dog does a very similar thing! My Portuguese Water Dog (I’m allergic to shedding dogs), especially when EXCITED (someone comes home, someone comes to the door, food is involved, etc), cannot do anything without picking up or dragging a large toy with him. He never destroyed or pulled apart his stuffed animals, either. I call it, ‘jawing,’ because it’s almost like sucking, but he just continually gently bites ip & down. It’s a way that dogs release anxiety or excitement. He loved his regular-sized stuffed animals, but he ADORED the huge ones. He would lie down on, around, & under it, rest his head on top, & gently jaw another part of it. I really think it’s similar to your dog & his blanket. It’s comfort & happiness!

These boys are born performers! They adore the happy feedback they get! And those "pupjamas" are just the cutest! Nice to know they're so relaxed and contented.

That is so sweet and hilarious. I love seeing an abandoned/abused pup when he realizes that someone LOVES HIM and comes out of their shell. I’d be lost without my babies, they can turn even the worst day imaginable into a blessed day just by showing their love and appreciation. God bless you for giving these to sweet babies a life and love.

Everyone should have a pet; they provide that special something a child can't.

You're so right hapwn. I've had Guinea pigs, a rabbit, goldfish, cats and a dog. And now I have a brother and sister cat who are 10 months old now and a departure from my usual Siamese of the past and they're the love of my life. I can't survive without a pet.

@@greywebs1944 yeah then they grow up! Lol I have a cousin who would always carry around her blanket (she called it doily), but I think she was at least 10; idk, but she was too old for it; NOT kawaii at all.
