In August I went from iPhone 15 Pro Max to Samsung Galaxy Fold 6 and now I'm using the Pixel 9 Pro XL for the last month and half! Been really blown away by how smooth it runs and now after last Android 15 November update the battery is phenomenal! Don't get me wrong I liked the Fold 6 as well but Google assistant and Gemini are just better integrated on Pixel and am liking Google Buds Pro 2 integration as well! Currently looking at snagging a Pixel Watch 3!

I think the Tensor 4 is holding up very well. I'm not a gamer so I really don't care about that. It is smooth like butter. I held on to my 6a because of the size. Small enough to use in the gym. I upgraded my 7pro to the Pixel 9 pro XL. I regret nothing. 👍🏽

I got the pro 9 XL and love the phone so far. Been my favorite phone. Even if you don't get a pixel phone, you definitely want to get Gemini. It's integrated through text messages on my KZbin coming to the maps and your camera. The convenience of Gemini is insane on top of being able to speak to and understand you.

I've been using the Pixel 6 Pro and it was doing totally fine but when I saw it on 400€ exchange deal so the price was basically for 549€ for Pixel 9, I went for it and loving the Peony phone with free black Google official phone case. No regrets.

You have crazy deals over there all the time. Here in Hungary they reduce new models by 5-10% max. Or they sweep out the old crap. The 9 Pro XL or the 8 Pro is on my radar even though I'm super happy with my Galaxy 23+.

This is why I never understand the strong pushback against google MSRP. These sales combined with incredible trade in deals make it very affordable and far cheaper than Apple and Samsung Literally traded my pixel 8 pro for the pixel 9 pro and only had to pay $50 in taxes. Got $69 back in store credit which is more than I paid out of pocket.

I haven't used the 9, but I'd strongly recommend the 8 pro if you're thinking about it. I had the 8 pro and now 9 xl. Imo, the 9 pro xl is more like the 8 pro v2. The 8 pro is such an insanely good value, and I only upgraded because of the crazy good deals.

Phones look really nice and I was thinking of buying the 9 pro but then I saw that reviewers on KZbin have done the internet speed comparison and found that they were getting slow speeds on 5G and had to sometimes switch the airplane mode on and off to resolve these issues. Now, I am not sure.

Android 15 qpr2 beta 1 has upgraded all tensor to kernel 6.1 and 7/8 series are on updated modem firmware as well. Its amazing that pixel is running latest kernel as Ubuntu or Debian 12 LTS kernel. Pixel 7 is good enough until TSMC version comes up. iPhone modem is made for power efficiency and once they try to get better signal it simply cuts out. They might as well disable 2G via toggle just like Pixel. Disabling 2G stabilized pixel 7 modem to a great extent.

I feel like the Pixel 9 will be a turning point for the Pixel series. Market share has grown tremendously with the 9. I think future Pixels will continue to slowly gain market share and people will look back and say this started with the 9 series...

Hey Adam, I have the s24+ and love it. It has a few hiccups, but nothing odd. I've been taking pictures with it and get good/great pics but am wondering if the pixel might be better for photos. After listening to your advice about the s24+, I ended up getting s24+ and am happy with it but looking for better photos. Would you recommend the pixel 9 for better photos or do you have another recommendation? I'd appreciate your input. ✌️

If it's a new phone just continue using it, everything will eventually get optimised in about a week or two Did you recently do any update? Also if it's very fast and unusual maybe you can take it to where you bought it and they check if it's a defective unit

@@jevonsims900 that's what I am doing. I wanted to love the phone, it's smooth the camera is amazing but the battery has to last. I've turned off all the background app usage and google is still somehow running. This one wasn't for me and that's OK I am glad the pixel is having so much success.
