25 years ago. On my 22nd b-day. My first PJ show at my favorite concert venue. Best night of my life so far.

I just found my ticket stub and t-shirt from this concert going through stuff at my Dad's place, 3 buddies and I drove 500 miles to see it and it was worth every one

Eternally jealous of anybody who got to see them in the Ten-Vitalogy days. At least I got to see them play Wash... one of only 19 times since 2000. It was the first time they had played it since 96 and they didn't play it again for 3 more years.

At the beginning of Spin the Black Circle Eddie is watching and rocking out to my buddy and I with our shirts off spinning them over our heads. He even points at us. So friggin cool. Being a kid with Pearl Jam was truly King!! Greatest summer yet!

Jack Irons isn't a bad drummer, but there's a completely different level of urgency and energy when Dave Abbruzzese was behind the kit.

"Everything!...EVERYTHING!!.. ALL...I gave it all my love..I gave you all my love..I gave you all my love.." (Then he wails along in a wordless, beautiful harmony with Mike's electric solo until the final notes where he finishes with "we belong together"). Hits so hard. If this EVER gets a bootleg release, it will be an all timer.

Why did Ed keep fucking up the lyrics to Dissident, always seemed to happen in 95' sang 'when she had contact with the conflict' as first verse instead of 'soon she was down soon he was low' watched several live versions like Morrison CO show etc. idk just weird ruined a great song at that time for me.

DAVE ABB. WAS THE BEST DEFINITIVELY .....I DON'T DO MUCH IRONS STUFF IS EXTREMELY SIMPLE
@WisconsinParkour8 жыл бұрын
+Bobby Chum Kinda a poor way to measure though. Matt Cameron is still the best. For them, idk who the best is, but overall, it's Matt Cameron.
@dogfever8 жыл бұрын
Matt Cameron suck on PJ, if you check how Dave Abb played on early 90s shows that's fuckin' v8 powerful engine dude, Cameron's good on SG
@toddrichardson85954 жыл бұрын

@dogfever4 жыл бұрын
@@toddrichardson8595 Dave Abb was and will be the best for PJ Irons tried but failed
@featheryfemme2 жыл бұрын
Dave was good, but Jack's the best drummer they ever had. Maybe not quite as fitting as Dave A, sure, but he's no doubt the most skilled percussionist they've ever had the pleasure of working with.
