As someone who worked in an underfunded jail for about a year, pretty similar experience. Though don't try to think most guards are douchbags or anything just cause they won't change the channel for you. Usually a whole lot of shit that a guard has to do, with almost no praise, shit pay, and no real benefits while having to deal with some of the most needy and begging people in the world constantly asking for more things. That's not to mention any paperwork, walking inmates around to their lawyers, giving inmates phone calls and showers. Generally understaffed. It's not good for anything in a jail.
@PKAClips4 жыл бұрын
Oof that sounds rough
@DCfreerunner2 жыл бұрын
I'm very confused by this because I've seen and heard from prison guards the exact opposite? Great benefits, paid to move their family everytime their boss moves to a new system, good pay and career choice. That's the private prison system. If you worked in a jail then that's the difference and if you work in prisons then I don't think you would call it a jail? Could be way off base but that's my predisposition
@Adminium212 жыл бұрын
@@DCfreerunner Definitely talking about jails. There is a reason prisons are much more liked by inmates than jails. Jails have no budget, for anything. Prisons are generally better, and federal prisons are like a paradise comparatively.
@lordautist7599 ай бұрын
Some of them really are douchbags though, I had to beg this one dep for literally an hour to bring me some toilet paper and he kept saying "I'll bring it next time I come around", eventually I had to fall asleep to try and hold my shit in unconsciously. just a reminder to clear things up with Kyle’s charges. i know he’s told the whole story at some point, but sometimes he leaves out the detail that he had a Federal Firearms License. you’re subjecting yourself to intense federal scrutiny when you have one. he also didn’t have an entry level ffl, he was able to possess / manufacture machine guns and may have been working on / had the explosives side of licensure. serious shit i hate that it’s that way, it’s bullshit, but it’s what he agreed to. he knew the risks and lived how he wanted to. that’s true to his character and he took his licks. what really sucks is he took the distribution charge so he will probably never get it removed. hindsight being 20/20, he probably should have unofficially / legally partnered with another party and not carried the license himself? what scares me most about people buying firearms that recreationally use drugs is that on your 4473, the form you fill out before you’re able to buy a gun, you state that you are not an unlawful user of marijuana or other substances. not sure what the crime is for lying on a federal form, but i feel like someone without a couple hundred thousand dollar legal team will do more time for that than Kyle did. be careful out there. know the risks
