What can you really learn from planting bamboo? A surprising amount actually. In this video, Geoff discusses a small garden project that ended up teaching him big lessons.

amazing this ! bamboo is a special plant! the seeds take 5 years to grow enough to peek through the soil - but once they do - they grow quickly into huge strong plants! there is an esoteric message in this too!

Hi Mr. Thompson. Watched both both your interviews on London Real. I think they were simply amazing and I really think that they should've just asked you the questions and let you talk without interrupting. I've subscribed to your channel ever since. I have 3 questions for you which have been on my mind for months now after watching your videos, I would be deeply grateful for any answer from you even if it's just a simple - go read this book or that. 1. For someone who wants to learn basic self defence, knowing that what you have practiced or "drilled" is what one would use in a fight. Which martial you recommend for someone who wants to learn basic self defence? Understanding fully of course that there is no one best martial art that is all encompassing in a street fight. 2. After writing down ones 'Fear Pyramid'. Where does one find the energy to go after them? I understand that a certain amount of force needs to be conjured to pursue things that one doesn't want to pursue. Where does one find the 'knife to grow'? 3. You say that forgiveness is the greatest revenge (forgive me if I'm misquoting). How does the sinner forgive himself? Or does he even dare to? Thank You. Greetings from India.

+Suhail Agha Questions answered below from Geoff: 1. For someone who wants to learn basic self defence, knowing that what you have practiced or "drilled" is what one would use in a fight. Which martial you recommend for someone who wants to learn basic self defence? Understanding fully of course that there is no one best martial art that is all encompassing in a street fight.GT: I always recommend awareness, avoidance, escape, dissuasion (if possible) before using a pre-emptive attack if all else fails and you have ‘honest belief’ that you are going to be attacked. For realistic physical martial arts, I always recommend western boxing first, this is stronger still if you have a back-up art of wrestling or judo. The best book to read for more detail is Dead or Alive www.shop.geoffthompson.com/acatalog/Books__MA_and_SD_.html it is pretty comprehensive. 2. After writing down ones 'Fear Pyramid'. Where does one find the energy to go after them? I understand that a certain amount of force needs to be conjured to pursue things that one doesn't want to pursue. Where does one find the 'knife to grow'?GT: energy will come from Logos, or purpose. Your purpose needs to be string, it needs to be certain. When you inject the ‘element’ of Intention between the negative and positive poles of inertia and action, energy is created. For more on the Logos, and Man’s Search for Meaning check out Victor Frankle amzn.to/1MWzpz6 3. You say that forgiveness is the greatest revenge (forgive me if I'm misquoting). How does the sinner forgive himself? Or does he even dare to?GT: when someone causes harm to others (when he sins/misses the target/acts without knowledge), the karma of that harm possess both himself - the instigator - and the victim. Abuse is a possession for all parties involved. That abuse - whether given or received - sets off a karma response for all. When the victim forgives the perpetrator, he separates himself from that karma, he realises himself. In esoteric terms this would be classed as an exorcism; the inner ‘divide’ created by the abuse is cleaned or atoned (or consumed) and the victim literally frees him/herself from the cycle of karma. This is a process that often takes time. The sinner starts to atone, or seek atonement, when he realises first that the harm he did to other/s, he also did to himself, the sin lives in him as an entity, a hungry ghost, that he will need to clean, if he doesn’t he will be controlled and consumed by it.So the sinner atones in stages: first he fully acknowledges (in his own mind, if he/she is brave/if it is necessary in public) that he has erred, and takes full responsibility for his actions with no excuses or blame, and he also accepts the future consequences of those actions (whatever they might be) as his own just deserts. He then surrenders his fully acknowledged sin to a higher centre (the Soul/God/the Universe). Then the atonement or exorcism will take place in its own way - according to the nature and gravity of the sin - and in its own time. He or she also has to make sure that they no longer act in error and hurt others, if he continues to err, the karma continues to grow, and they are never freed from the wheel.

+Louis G Thompson Thank you for clarity on all the questions Mr. Thompson. I appreciate the time you've taken to answer them all. I will be looking into Dead or Alive for sure. I was thinking the same in terms of Western Boxing. Although i have no experience fighting. I had written down a list of to-dos for last year (a kind of resolution). Learn a martial art was one of them. Will have to Double down and get things done. Especially like your reply to the 3rd question. Not sure if you've already put this concept out in terms of "the energy of the sin possessing both the victim and the sinner", maybe you could elaborate more in an upcoming video. Thanks again.
