Also, I’ll see if I can email you a link to the plasma cutting table I’m looking at it’s fairly affordable compared to its competitors.

Thanks. This was the longest video I've ever made. I figured nobody would want to watch the whole video, so I had to break it down to chapters. It was my first time doing that too, so I had to do some research to figure out how to do that so that KZbin would recognize it. It wasn't that hard to do, so I will be able to do it again on the longer ones. It was supposed to be loaded before dinner on Sunday, but that didn't happen. I started around 10am, and before I knew it, it was 3pm. Then, editing took about 4 hours. By the time it was ready to upload, it was so late, I let it upload while I went to bed. I got up really early this morning to make the Thumbnail, upload that, then do all the KZbin stuff. I think I got it online by 9am. I may do one more very small video before closing out the year.

Wow, thanks for the Master Class! I look forward to using my Forney 20P from Harbor Freight after watching this. My buddy tried it out first but I’ve not used it yet. Yes, please make a video of the truck- mount compressor build. You must be a busy guy with not one, but two businesses! Thanks for taking the time and making the effort to create these videos! Happy New Year Jason.

Happy New Year to you too! That Forney Plasma is a great little machine. It should do you well for a long time. I will try to get that compressor build video up soon.

I been considering plasma cutter but I find it hard to justify when I have an oxy acetylene set up. Still great quality video, I like that its not squeezed into 10 minutes and actually covers the finer details. Subscribed
@AllStarWeldingSCАй бұрын
Thank you for your comments. When I got through editing, I saw it was 49 minutes long! Longest video I've ever made. So I learned how to do the chapters. I don't use acetylene anymore. I switched over to propane 2 years ago and I love it. I had a guy pop in yesterday that needed 1 1/4" plate cut. He laughed when I said I was using propane. When I was done, he complimented me on how well I knew my trade. Hahaha. Plasma still has a home in my shop. Last year I made 65 Jack-o'-lanterns for Halloween out of freon tanks. Plasma was the ideal setup for that. One handed operation, straight clean cuts.
@autumnjeserich2689Ай бұрын
I'm sure i will make the change to propane eventually. I got the oxy acetylene set up with tanks for 50 bucks at a swap meet like 5 years ago and the tanks haven't run out yet. I mostly use it to heat straighten/shrink or bend things. I do car related fabrication mostly so mostly work with sheet metal that cuts pretty well in the bandsaw or cut off wheel. Plasma definitely has the advantage in clean cuts and saving time. I can't even wrap my head around how cheap they've gotten
@AllStarWeldingSCАй бұрын
Right? I remember when the most basic plasma was over $1000, now you can get one for $200.

jason, i just bought a lincoln 90i fc welder and have been practicing laying down beads and welding laps and ts. i would like to see how to bend wrought iron handrail stock to come down steps then go straight out about 2 feet. i have 45 years as a building contractor but never worked with steel before (always subbed it out). thankks
@AllStarWeldingSCАй бұрын
Well, if it's just straight angles, you can just miter cut like you would with wood. If you need to curve it, I use rolling machines, or heat it with a rosebud torch then bend it
@ChristopherbeverАй бұрын
Have you worked on the rotary screw compressors?
@AllStarWeldingSCАй бұрын
No. Those are a little beyond my scope of expertise. Haha. I know they are bad to the bone

@ our powder coating/sand blasting set up uses a big ol inger sol 50hp electric one… massive monster… but she’s about to be down for a few weeks so I can replace/upgrade the cooler and do some maintenance But I’d like to see if I can upgrade our 80gallon speed air 5z637A from a single stage 17cfm to a two stage or 3 stage to handle a little more CFM so I can do cabinet blasting and hvlp painting with it.
@AllStarWeldingSCАй бұрын
That would be cool.
