Thanks Thay for your wise words. If we can transform ourselves, then we will have the energies of compassion, understanding and non-discrimination to help change our community.

Dear Teacher, thank you for directing our focus to our own ignorance, fear, and violence as the first step for any group on the road to social justice. It makes sense when you tell us that first we must cultivate a solidarity of brotherhood and sisterhood, of freedom from corruption. You have been present for decades, and the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr Has acknowledge your profound influence in social justice movements as a friend. Thank you, Teacher.

I was present at that Hollywood retreat in early 2004 Thay mentions in the beginning of this video. I remember Sister Chan Khong telling us that Garry Shandling was present, too, and he donated $10,000. She was so grateful for that donation. She said that she is grateful for a $10 donation. I wonder how Thay's meeting with producers went. Hollywood is known for graphic films. The bottom line always seems to be profit, and, unfortunately, graphic films sell.

He has so much knowledge I wish he accepts Islam so he also gets benifit in the ever existing afterlife.A man with this much knowledge should know who gave him this knowledge and who made him except worshipping Stones.Allah is the only God and he has no match. He is ever living and omnipresent. He is the guardian lord and The king of heavens and Eath.He is the most merciful,He says in quran Sin as much as the grains of sand reaching the sky and then say forgive me Allah for one time and he will forgive all of them.O who you who dont believe.O who are distracted from the right path.Worship Allah as he is the Creator of all things and everything in this world is temporary. Please if you agree with this message read Quran and understand Quran you will find all the answers trust me.

He does, but makes the point that our own intention to do right require an environment that nourishes positivity, hence his comments about Hollywood and movies. We need help (and each other). No man is an island.
