You give me great ideas for excellent warm-up. Also really good to see your plyometrics routine in conjunction with calisthenics. I looked up plyometrics in a dictionary and got this: "functioning as singular a system of exercise in which the muscles are repeatedly stretched and suddenly contracted", this should work well with my sprint routine. You prove that you don´t really need complex equipment to get in great shape.

@@daisverrisson7167 Thanks mate, I appreciate your comment! Yes, I agree, plyometrics is very beneficial for athletes of many different sports including sprinters. As always, the warmup and down is ever so crucial 👌

Your warm ups remind me of wrestling warm ups and drills. We did a lot more in the crawling variety too. Warming up outside in cold morning workouts is essential.

@@Shimidzufitness Our wrestling mat room was usually quite warm and we sweat a lot. Lots of wiping of mats throughout our workouts. I definitely prefer warm spaces to train in. As I figure out where I will move next I'm thinking a warm climate. I'm looking more into firefighting as a way to serve. They have hard lives. I want some work that will require strong physicality. I think I'm built for hard physical work. Sitting at a computer doing inventory and other stuff for a supply company is boring. I've done this since part time in high school and my default job after college. I'm tired of going into "default mode". This past summer has been a blast training so much harder and with others. It's time to move on. And warmer outdoor spaces most of the year is very appealing.

Last night after training for my 2 abs goals I was extremely hot. Our gym wants us to sweat. So I walked outside shirtless and it was dark and damn cold. Made me think of your daily outdoor workouts. A buddy moves in today so I'm up early after taking a beating last night to get things ready. And my new housemate is 1 of the guys who threw hard punches. I've decided to check into buying this small rental house and remodel it. It could be a good investment. It's a great rental and could be great income. I'm itchy to rethink my life and where I want to live. The gymnast I trained with is in full time construction. He said he'd be happy to check out this house for issues when the time comes. The basement is cold and I want to make it warm and dry. I want it to become a home gym. I love your commitment to working out daily and outdoors. You've been a good encouragement.

@@Shimidzufitness Question--should I have a rental agreement for my housemate? He wants to pay good rent. I'm also thinking tax consequences! I was happy just to have him have a place. But he works and has money. It would be maybe through June of 2025.

Hello, and thank you for sharing this video. I’d like to know if it’s necessary to train to failure in plyometric, coordination, or power workouts.
@Shimidzufitness21 күн бұрын
@@laloiduplusfort thanks mate. I do not train till failure for plyometrics, however, it is important to push yourself! Form is of upmost importance when it comes to plyometrics as, if not done correctly, injuries are common
