After a long time and a lot of fun with my daughter, I was able to publish a new video. Sorry folks, but all dad's know spending time with your kids is better then any electronic stuff.
In this video I will unbox it and show you how it work and compare it with the popular DSO150 Shell from JYE-Tech.
Some of you know that I like DSO, not the expansive one, they have to be cheap. This is the smallest one I ever found, to bad it is not a kit I can assembly but hey it's OK.
Still can have some fun with it and to make it more DIY I just designed a case for it to print with a 3D printer.

Looking to buy one but from what i can gather these are no use for testing electrical items like laptop motherboards or television repairs they are only useful for audio waveform analysis due to the limited frequency of 300khz you really meed 20mhz oscilloscope? What can you actually use the DSO188 for testing of?

It's more fun for me, when I started with electronic an OSZI was expansive and bulky I just like to play with them. The DSO188 is just fun so small and more usefull the the DSO Pen's you could buy 20 years ago with a 64X32 Pixel display for more then 200DM (100€).....

I have an odd, but relevant question. From the day you ordered this Daniu DSO188, how long (days) did it take to arrive from China to Germany?? I ask, as I have been waiting for 2 months for my JYETech DSO 138 mini and a probe for it. Granted, they will be shipping to the USA, but did it take FOREVER for them to deliver it to you? It never take so long for me allways about 2 to 3 weeks when orderd from banggood, I guess one reason is the lockdown my wife is from china and we have had some trouble to send things to china since march.

@Anyone who wants to help. If I wanted this to display audio outputs, from different instruments, such as synthesisers, is there an easy way for me to do so? If I make a box with a female to female Jack, could I just tap into the wiring of that? Any pointers would be appreciated.

You can just attach it to the output but as long as you don‘t play a stable tone it would look messy, it can’t trigger to audio

Your audio needs a compressor.
